Hi there, I have recently purchased a new camera(Nikon- am hoping I made the right choice ), and thus far have only shot in auto- I am finding my Pug is showing up in the shots as very 'White'. The attached pic I think explains what I am meaning. I realise that it's maybe due to the sun? And perhaps this is something I should expect with a light coloured dog? Or is there something I should/shouldn't be doing in Auto to compensate?? Many thanks in advance

Sorry- but can you really blame her?? Obviously she is happy and content in the company of others. Why can't she be rehomed on the condition that she be allowed to sleep inside? I know there is no way in hell I would knowingly rehome a rescue of mine that is made to sleep outside.

You could use a target stick in your distance work, initially. BTW-I would be rewarding in the 'bow' position- otherwise you are essentially rewarding him standing.

Cooked frankfurt cut up into appropriate sizes is the biggest fave here. Soft, quick to eat and smells to high heaven. Also Cheese, Cabana, Liver in the oven ect ect I have recently 'dusted off' my clicker, and very pleased with the results. Happy training :cool:

I'm about to get my 12yo girl tested. She hasn't been vaccinated for 11yrs and has been fed a raw diet for the last 8yrs or so. Also my 7yo lad, he hasn't been vaccinated since a pup, either. Very interested to see the results!

Most dogs get sit drummed into them, it's any wonder they have trouble with the stand! You could loop a very light nylon lead under his belly/groin- and offer resistance via that. So you would be holding both ends of the lead in one hand above him like shopping bag straps- and luring/marking with the other. Gradually offer less resistance as he gets more solid.

Hi, Is one entry form acceptable for each day? Ie: 1 form for AM & PM, indicating so. Or do 4 seperate forms need to be filled out for the 4 trials? I filled out 4 seperate entries, then heard the trial was cancelled- so put a big cross out on them Now it's back on, and Im now entering 2 dogs, so thought I would check what is acceptable before filling 8 of them out Thanks!

Quick ET brag for us.. Yesterday, at the Vizsla club Endurance trial, Mia the Pug made some history for her breed, and passed with flying colours And I am never going near another bike again Mia is now Hogarth Hail Mary C.D E.T(the ET bit, being rather apt )
