  1. thanks huga I'm taking this way worse than I thought I would, I've been so "practical" through his diagnosis and everything, and now I've come undone and I miss him

  3. gila - I like the walking track, Spencer is looking nicely focussed! wags - a lovely shot of Riley, cute tongue action ... and I totally loved his week 8 tlc - Bronson sure is super happy love that shot of Toby, looking so attentive, nice background too Bindi is having fun, that 2nd shot though, all I can picture is the racket and her going for the ball at the same time ... ouch Cowboy is looking very serious! Better get down to the beach annie :D love your Louie shots, he is a stunner, even week 7 wow look at Quinn's ears! are they all black all over? both nice photos gorgeous profile of Asti catherine - funny boy I love the proud pose displayed in the 2nd shot of Bob! He's on top of the world beautiful close-ups of Tali and Kyla! helen - awesome effort last week! I did up a book of Jamie's 52 weeks from last year - yours looks awesome!! Moo is perfect on the green grass, great colours and her eyes are so clear ... funny one of her soaking wet on the waterlogged stump too love Morty ... at the 2 of them on the lounge Kuma watches the whole top gear show? wow, my dogs show zero interest in television, even with animal sounds great pose from Marlo whiskedaway - such a cute puppy here's Chester's week 8/52 and Lotus' week 9/52 yup Chester's week 9 will hopefully be here by the end of the week :D

  6. yup a great challenge, and unique opportunity I can't see why I won't make this one re: sharing on the photobucket site, I'd like to but how?
  7. very cool! I like the 2nd last photo where the sheep looks to be behaving particularly difficult
  8. thanks again! kirislin - that 2nd cropped shot is great! hey bec you should give it a go ... it is not easy ... I could just feel all these awesome shots slip away would be great to see you there too evolving Just checked which lens, 90% of the good ones were using kirislin's borrowed 70-200mm f/2.8 - made a massive difference - just let me give another thanks for that I only had my kit 75-300mm and then after lunch I went with my trusty sigma 105mm f/2.8 I think I should go see if any of the 75-300mm were worth even looking at, 'cause I'm suspecting not ... the 1st one I posted was with that lens though, so it's not totally undoable kirislin - good idea changing the direction of the run if it works
  9. thanks I can't believe the 19th of March is a rostered day off. If it goes ahead, I would love to give it another go Chester and Lotus may be interested, but not sure I could tolerate them hanging out all day while I photographed. yeh, isn't that little iggy hugging the cutest great to meet you too Beltar, and your darling girls
  10. Ella classic expression 5 running whippets, 1 foot on the ground :p Beltar's little girls! Italian greyhounds on the track and lastly that blue fella again thanks again kirslin for being so welcoming
  11. greyhound *** pity I wasn't focussed on the flying whippet on the fence this blue (?) flying fella was great to photograph, 100% focussed on the lure - ran straight into the soft barrier to follow it I do have more as it happens
  12. You got some really great action shots kirislin! Awesome one of Jack in there too it was a great day! thanks kirislin for being a wonderful host :p ... and thanks again for the lend of your super nice lens I decided once I got home that I would be happy with 10 or so decent shots, it was very challenging to photograph whippets at full pelt coming at ya :D I just have to go upload and will be back to post shortly
  13. yeh, I guess you'll just have to take my word for it ... or does this help? the shot before
  14. thanks heaps everyone Texas celebrated his 14th Birthday on Wednesday, I booked us all (4 pack and my mother came along) in for an hour at Kepala he loved the swimming, retrieving the wubba kong was totally exhausted by the end ... but he pulled up pretty good considering ... and they all got some juicy bones once we got home and while my mother was visiting I got her to help me out the day before for a trip to the park Mum was pulling the cart, I was holding onto Jame, Chess and Lotus, watching for traffic, other dogs etc, and ensuring he didn't sit up, and trying to click off a couple of shots! Amazed I was able to do this by myself last week (or so), it really isn't that easy the ugly mat was key to him enjoying the ride again cheers
  15. Willow looks happy to be wearing her footy jumper *** water photos again from me. Went to Kepala with the 4 pack for Texas' birthday 7/52 - Lotus making waves 7/52 - and Chester wondering how this could possibly be any fun I know, I know 2 again for Chester
  16. impressive! I like the 3rd shot down of Kalais and the ones of Chase Love how you got them with the front paws higher than their back
  17. oh I needed this reminder! wet looks like fun for photography hahaha big splashes
  18. wow! what a great story, great photos too under such conditions. I'd be a mess if some 7ft 2inch security guy bailed me up
  19. looks very urban gila, like the b&w and his fluffy tail backdropped with the black riley is brilliant no matter what! love his eyes in that shot Morty's looking very puppy-like, love those ears perfectly rounding out his face! kickss - cool! Maggie's looking sweet as always, hope you aren't going anywhere OS, those sniffer dogs will be very interested in your pink bag oh Moo does look a little disappointed lol ... Flynn looks great, having fun too no doubt Asti needs to get her rest obviously for puppiness great attitude/look from Kuma catherineb - like the different edits in your triptych what a great catch of Tali and Kyla doing the "double shake off" ... pretty one of them at the door too! fantastic shot of Cowboy, looking soo happy! such a wonderful smile great playful shot of Lottie in the water! *** I'm taking way too many photos at the moment, just a little overwhelmed and not really feeling much up to editing them properly, which means although I've taken this weeks shots I'm days behind fwiw
  20. Happy belated Birthday Bosco! gorgeous young fella
  21. I had a bit of an experiment back in Jan 2009 when I had a trial photoshop I liked these 2 of Chester I did, have them printed, taken with 3 shots ... very impressed he stayed still enough for it as I recall I had a go with a more scenic view and with Jamie and Texas but they didn't turn out so well I thought :D I really like some of the nice buildings/scenic HDR photos I've seen, I have an Icelandic flickr contact I find his work amazing! I was too late in this thread to see the photos you posted tlc ... oops having just read kja's comments there's some ghosting going on in those shots I've posted above, oh well
  22. awesome!! didn't realise this was on today, I had the day off work too, won't get another chance for another 6 months or something stupid like that!
