  4. mtd - would love to have that mountain as backdrop! Ever been to Canberra? I had to run up Mount Ainslie once, got a champagne breakfast at the top and then ran back down, it was fun, not sure how long it took, but I'm sure the champagne helped lol sammieS nice light with the star-shadows :D tlc - your pack sure take up the bed sweet portrait of Bronson with auntie! eventingpony - looks like you got it all sorted for pups arrival! looking forward to puppy pics :D naomi - poor Archie, looks like he's taking it okay though re: the hat, it's one of those beanies with plaits at the side, it was a New York find :D snook - love the composition, I tried something like that this weekend, didn't really turn out so well wags - nice b&w sleepy shot of Riley, despite the last minute effort, so cosy :D weibritty - Marlo's looking good, love her wispy fur ~~~~~~ Lotus 29/52 - couldn't go past her eyes for this weeks shot, we were practising "down" before a game of tennis ball retrieves at the park when I saw how the light through the trees reflected in her eyes, always with the camera around my neck, I had to try and capture it! Her eyes are usually so difficult to see. Chester 29/52 - more of a documentary kinda shot, they've been doing roadworks on my street for a while, now they've got to the stage where I can't access my driveway with my car (it's the red one in the background), and I have to duck under, or step over those ribbons to even get home. They are hoping to pour the concrete for the driveways tomorrow, we'll see huh? ~~~~~~

  14. Lotus 25/52 - funny Chester 25/52 - owning the bed
  15. cheers huga - I'd love to see how you'd go with it :D I've just not looked into lens correction. I don't see the curve very well here either, but when in lr and using the grid it's there lol
  16. no, not sure how to to be honest, but it has been straightened, and I can see a curve to it too. beach horizons are tricky anyway if you ask me, those wave heights don't make for very straight horizons, I'm not always very strict about it :D
  17. Have you ever tried correcting this in DPP? I have a 17-85 and tried the correction out, it was pretty good. Then again sometimes you can use that distortion to great effect. Clicking Mad was brilliant with it. She doesn't seem to post much here now. no you're right I don't post much, I still hang around sometimes and read though ;) I have the sigma 10-20mm and love it for the crazy wide-angle, I like the distortion though there is definitely a knack to it ... some most recent examples may give you a better idea @10mm @20mm I also have the "brick" and don't use it anywhere near as much as I probably should, it's just too heavy for walking to the park trips for my liking ... though I accidently took it to the beach the other week instead of the long lens (I was leaving at 6 in the morning and failed to actually look inside the lens bag before grabbing it *doh* ) ... examples of that ... @24mm @50mm @50mm again but obviously cropped
  18. Archie is so cute! :D helen - cool! Chazer looks super-relaxed I have that app. you should look at "vignette demo" - that one is my fav. phone camera app. :D Lotus 24/52 - a semi-self-portrait - an obedience sit Chester 24/52 - a colourful shot to forget that Winter is freezing and not even half-way through yet
