  1. Glad Mojo is going to be OK. I'd talk to the breeder and ask them to hold the pup 8 weeks longer. I would, of course, offer to pay all expenses and expect(hope) that the offer is accepted. (Just to put in context... I parent my doglets, I do not breed)
  2. Thank you for the info. I've just ordered http://www.plushpupp...63&cat=3&page=2. BTW, is it really ok to use sunscreen for humans on dogs?
  3. Charcoal is a good remedy for 'garden-variety' stomach upsets. It absorbs toxins in the digestive system. Not sure if it helps with bloat
  4. Thank you for the info. I will have to make a purchase pretty soon. The tan fanatic tried to improve his tan today PP thank you for the lovely comment. He is ma's boy
  5. Thank you Perfect Partners. I didn't know that. Will investigate a better option for my baby boy.
  6. Fantastic news. Thank you to everyone who looked for Cindy. SWay, I hope and pray there is a good outcome to your search too!
  7. My avatar boy loves the sun. He is mostly white, has less than generous head of hair and came to us with scarring on ears caused by fly bites. He is an indoor dog but can go outside whenever he wants to. His recent sunning sessions resulted in a mild sunburn. I am very keen to find something I can spray/put on his head to prevent future skin problems (he is now wearing a very white zinc nose). Can anyone recommend a good product?
  8. Disclaimer: They are beautiful dogs. It's their mum's warped sense of beauty that made her post these pics. Sinalong Toy Monsters
  9. I feel that puppy price is somewhat irrelevant. The most important thing is health. A poorly bred dog is likely to cost thousands in vet fees over its lifetime.
  10. I use body blocks to move the dogs. Once there... reward! It works well for us
  11. Could there bindi plants in the grass? My dogs walk very 'carefully' on bindi infested grass.
  12. I've invested in 3 x doggy snooze beds ( http://www.doggysnooze.com/us/en/Default.aspx ) It's the best. The beds are raised, you can adjust the firmness, you can add a cushion/blanket to make the sleeping experience great. (I bought them from NZ online shop - no probs at all :-) )
  13. My deputy pack-chief is Honey Milkshake. Her name these days is HonBun or HeyBunny. As she the most gorgeous dog in the pack and has personality to match I've borrowed her name (hehe)
  14. My rescue boy (in the avatar) was a bit like that. As others suggested it's probably his anxiety - he's been through a lot and is still not sure what's happening to him. Calm, quiet voice and rewards for "good" behaviour worked very well. Once he became my fab FF, it took me 3 months to fully integrate him into the pack. Oh, don't worry about the sit command. Some dogs really despise it (KI does). There are so many other things you can teach him.
  15. You are not biased. She has the best smile ever. Gorgeous girl.
  16. Breakfast here is barf + 2 tablespoons of yoghurt. It's usually greek or biodynamic style.
  17. Congratulations It's wonderful news I love "Basil". What a fab name.
  18. Gawd... I have such a soft spot for all white bullies. The spotted ears are to die for. He is awesome
  19. I am so so sorry to her the news Jodie. It must be so hard being without your special Ollie man. Ollie was an icon. His strength and determination has brought us joy and pride. Dearest Ollie, run pain free little man. Enjoy your path over the bridge. You will be remembered by many.
  20. No collars unless being walked. I'd pay the fine 10x over rather than take the risk (no matter how small)
  21. Run free gorgeous boy. So sorry to hear the news cathya
  22. Holistic EP + lots, lots of raw. The Bullies are really doing well on HEP Lamb.
