really? i can only see 3 colours where are you looking? I very nearly got that 1 last night, I really liked it. I sent through my custom order request about half an hour ago. I just hope it looks ok and what I selected works well together. that was the one i was trying to decide whether to buy or not and was waiting to see how much i spent today in the sales first. came back on to find it'd been sold

thanks, but i didn't get the job so i can't get a new camera. started in a new temporary contract this week, but it's at a lower level, so am going to miss the $ come pay day

just had a quick look, don't think i can afford it. even the cheapest of those models is way out of my price range :p

thanks huga. i've been wanting to trade my nikon for a better model, but not completely sure i can afford it. will definitely look into this.

thanks are you the person who commented on it? lol i've only just started using flickr n have no idea how it works really That was me With flickr you can add your photos to groups, so for the lensbaby shots you could join some lensbaby groups and add them for example. thanks ;) will have to look into it more! i just bought their new lens, the scout, and the optics kit. dad said that they're getting me the accessory kit for xmas

my friend wanted me to do the confetti photo using a subwoofer, except i didn't want to buy a subwoofer and didn't know anyone who had one i could use. the milk one is pretty cool tho

thanks. i've still got a lot to learn, and should use the lens more as it forces me to not use auto. manual scares me though lol i can't remember how i came across the lensbaby lenses. but when i saw pics, i fell in love with it's capabilities and can't wait til i get better there is a lensbaby group on redbubble. it's invite only, but i just messaged the group owner and he joined me up. and the forums on the lensbaby.com website are good too :D lots of knowledgeable people on there

and this one is my sound photo. it's a roulette plane free falling out of the sky. not sure they'll accept it as i had to crop it a lot so the plane wasn't a dot. it's about half the MB of the other photos i submitted

my confetti shot is crap, but i found it really hard to take. and i think i broke my dad's lens it's now making shuddering noises, and the picture through the view finder is all shakey when it does. was worried it was my camera but put one of my lenses back on afterwards and it wasn't doing it. and he was getting p'd off at having to keep picking up the confetti. i only got the confetti in motion in 3 of the shots. this was the best so it'll have to do.

ok, a sample of ok shots i've managed to take are here but keep in mind i'm not very good and you're better off looking elsewhere if you wana see good shots. some of those pics are exposed wrong coz i had never used manual til i got that lens, and about half those pics were taken in the first month of owning, the other half i took last month.

i have a lensbaby composer with a double glass optic (the optic that came with it). i love the lens, but don't use it a lot as i'm quite amateur and as i have a nikon, the lensbaby can only be used on manual. i have posted a few pics in the 50mm thread, as the lensbaby's are around 50mm (just over i think) but will see if i can post some of my better ones again here for you. i have asked for some more optics for it for xmas, and am also wanting to buy the scout which has just come out. i decided on the composer over muse and control freak, as control freak seemed too methodical to use and too much time to set up the shot, but i have little hands so the muse would of been hard to squeeze and hold the lens while having to focus manually etc so i went with the composer and haven't regretted it just waiting on iphoto to finish uploading my last canon photo 5 pic and then i'll stick some of flickr

thanks. i took a heap this morning, and you couldn't really see the smoke so tried them after dark, but then it was too dark so i found the torch and got dad to point it at various things and found by pointing it through the smoke, rather than at the side of the cup, that the smoke showed up better.
