Depending on when you need the rosette or ribbons try overseas. We have just brought in the most amazing rosettes from Germany half the price of Australia if not more & exactly what we wanted at no extra cost
-
If its a Rosette then it must be good quality otherwise i would sooner a ribbon. I have thousands of ribbons & rosettes around the house & i like both . I have won some very special ones & both look great . Comets i have never won

Anti Bouncy Bargains For Controlling Those Puppies !

Here they get told around 6 weeks that we have a pup available but not sure which one. Those who want specific are also told from day 1 that it limits there choices greatly ,we also ask if there preference isn't available do they want the option of another colour/sex,if they say no then they are told there & then that what there chances are. We are honest because they deserve it ,said pup could be your pick (depending on what you plan to keep ) People are entitled to preferences but breeders can't pull there options out of a hat & we tend to find those very specific often let you down the most or hardest to please so in all honestly if we have more people who are excellent prospects & not fussed in what they get our preference goes with them .

When i started doing agility many moons ago you would see an enormous variety of breeds ,all shapes & sizes doing extremely well & highly competitive. Then over the years the courses become better suited for "certain breeds" & those with breeds no longer suited dropped out because they where feed up with courses not being "friendly" to all breeds & realistically impossible for some breeds to get good times or places You go to most trials these days & all your see are the same breeds no real thrill in that nor a real public relations encouragement to joe public when all you see are Kelpies, working borders & a handful of other breed. I loved doing agility but wont do it now as the courses are to tight & i have more concern for the dogs safety which is ashame as they lose out on seeing something "different"

Was wondering if any off the WA horse folk can suggest a good equine vet that can do a purchase check. A friend is wanting to buy a horse but unsure which vet would be a good option

Your breeder should be able to supply you with any grooming info . There will be groomers who can do it BUT show grooming is done weekly so the cost factor would be astronomical plus you always need to do tidy ups with the next bath. Many of the Poodle people run grooming salons & they would be able to scissor no drama's. If the coat is correct texture the body is easy to do with a good eye & right equipment .the head is harder especially waiting for it to grow. Have you learnt about banding the face to minimize staining ??

The Standard Long Dachshund is often referred to the Irish Setter in a small body. I have experience with both smart, loyal.loves the world but has that Gundog nature . Std Longs where used as water retrievers so very gundog orientated . Cavaliers are sporting spaniels so should be very gundog orientated as well ,shed like nothing on earth though & can be chronic snorers

For me a true professional handler is someone who is the complete package. conditions & grooms & handles the dog . A Handler to me is someone who can be paid or assist friends in handling a dog in a manner that is highly competitive & brings the best out of that dog & breed. Age can be as early as . Wins do play a factor BUT assessing a teamwork between handler & dog is first & foremost
