  1. Totally agree, it's gone on far too long, you need implement the changes.
  2. I agree with the other comments re perhaps steering clear of Gundog/Working breeds unless you can locate a breeder who will be honest and ensure you get the pup that meets your requirements. Pembrokes can be great couch potatoes, they do shed a lot but are very people orientated and would be happy to lay around while you study and just as happy to go out with you on a walk. They are smart and very trainable... Cardigans would also be an option, a little more reserved than the Pembroke. ETA: both of the above are working breeds however they are very adaptable. * I think this is probably only the second time I've gone ahead and recommended my own breed...
  3. It's not...the OP has it correct.
  4. ...and Ozshow. Number won't be posted out and an be collected from the office.
  5. Twice daily temperature taking is simply not enough! Exactly :) Heiddi From the temps you've given IMO your girls average temp is mid-high 37's and you'll be wanting a drop down into the 36's. But if you miss it, there are other signs that go with a temp drop (ie. I always find my girls are very restless during the temp drop and with that I find them much tighter in the stomach).
  6. You can't really rule out tooth pain - many humans get tooth pain without having a tooth issue! She could have been stung by something...even a bite from a bull ant will cause them to rub the site and often become quiet.
  7. If you want to email it to me I'd be happy to spend the time copying it over :)
  8. Just Genes in QLD or Crygenes in VIC.
  9. It's not uncommon for baby canines to be present when the adult canines come in...that's what the nope means. I've had pups retain them to just past 6 months and the come out however I only allow this if the baby canines aren't hindering the normal placement of the adult teeth. Keep a careful eye on the adult teeth coming in and offer lots of meaty bones, if at any stage you're concerned that the placement of the adult teeth is being affected by the retained teeth then make an appointment with your vet to have them removed :)
  10. Has anyone actually had semen collected, frozen and then used (doesn't matter where it was actually inseminated, either at RR or elsewhere) (time frame doesn't matter) with success using Rocky Ridge at Calga? Just putting out some feelers for a non internet friend ( yes they exist!) and thought that here was the best place to ask. Thanks :)
  11. Would have loved to have come to support the show but can't this year...will be down in August though :)
  12. I've got several jackets that I'll post up sometime in the next week...
  13. Nothing on the ANKC website... I feel sure you'd need to import them yourself.
  14. It's very possible that she feels she needs your approval or que to go, does she go overnight on the pads?
  15. It's not funny, you were rude to someone with a genuine suggestion. I don't believe you stated that you live in apartment, did you? No, until your second post! Just because you stated you have trained your puppy to pee on a pad on a balcony doesn't mean the world will assume you live in apartment (there could be a myriad of reasons for your choice). I suggest you come at lunch time and toilet her out on the balcony given her constant bouts of UTI. If you read my original post you'd notice that I do come home and let her out to pee at lunchtime. She's pee pad trained and will pee on it wherever it is (which you'd also know if you read the original post instead of just being snarky :), so my living arrangements aren't relevant (although my original post does actually state she pee's when I let her out on the balcony, so, you know). Sooooo instead of the usual instant bitchy responses from DOL people, let's try reading the original post and helping out someone (or don't help - but don't bitch at me, it's pointless) :) Just in case you can't: Puppy is pee pad trained Puppy will not pee on pee pad in the area she stays in during the day Puppy waits till I get home to pee Any ideas on why she's waiting for me in order to pee? Thanks :) I read that you have been letting her out at lunch time - CONTINUE TO DO SO! Any ideas why she's waiting...most likely because she doesn't want to pee on the pad you've trained her to pee on - obvious isn't it? You being away from home is obviously different to you having trained her to pee on it while you're home. You're the one who thought being rude to the first person who bothered to respond to your post was a good idea, you get what you give.

  17. If it was that simple would I be here asking for help? How rude are you!!!
  18. I think SwaY posted a fantastic product some time ago in another thread - perhaps she'll see this and respond :)
