I love the softness of the shot! Evolving - I think bob and zero might be related. Is he half sibe? Sarzc - gorgeous. Love the setting and how peaceful it looks! Helen - Love Chazer's guide. I have a feeling Z may have read it before this week. Even the sound of a packet opening wouldn't get him to look at the camera nicely! Poocow - you know what a fan I am of Flynny and the Moo Moo! Looks like you guys had an awesome time at the beach! TLC - Love Bron in the bath but I think he was made to wear that hat! RallyValley - Toby looks so serious in those shots! Where's the crazy "throwtheballthrowtheballthrowtheball" face Piper - Jazz doesn't look impressed! CM - Love lotus and chester as always. Beautiful colours! Flick mac - Banjo and Louie are just gorgeous! Kirislin - Love the expression! Catherine B - Gorgeous set! SammieS - It's so hard to get a shot of them with their eyes actually closed! I find that if i move, it wakes Z up! Zenith - gorgeous, love the colours! Kumaakita - I love kuma. Does he play fetch? Anniek - Your greyhounds are gorgeous - do you have issues with getting them to come back when they're off leash? DSO - Gorgeous shots! I managed to get the shots I wanted :D However, Zero discovered that he was able to slide down the slide and thought it was awesome so even though I was doing anything i could to stop him, i had to include the slide photos!

That shot took about 30 minutes to get. There were a lot of me looking at the camera, the two of us looking at eachother, lots of Zero getting up (he's used to running back over to the camera to get a treat after a photo is taken) and lots of stupid facial expressions by the both of us. It was taken with a remote trigger on my 450D - one of the big things I miss since i upgraded is the remote trigger! It was so helpful! In the end it was a lucky shot and the DOF is very very narrow which I'm not a huge fan of but it was getting dark and I didn't have my speedlite back then! If you're not the biggest fan of your shot - try and retake it!

Zero (who is actually Zero Armadeus Apollo) gets Z, Z-puppy, monster, munchkin, pup, puppy, poopy, Oi, doofus, fatty, fatty boombah, fatty boombalamutt, horrible dog, fat mutt, goggie, woof, woofy and smelly. I sound so horrible when I call him half of those things ;) He mostly gets called Z (Zee) but he gets Zero Armadeus when he's in trouble (or about to do something he knows is wrong).

google "photoshop for beginners" or "beginners tutorial photoshop" and you'll find lots of info. Once you've got your head around layers, you should be fine!

Damn - i had ideas for both my mow and zero shots for this week but it's raining today so i can't take them out to take them!

My first 18 months with Zero was really bad - he had a lot of baggage from his old (horrible) owners. Everything I discovered about him in those first few months was bad. My little man had a lot of issues. I wouldn't change him for the world now though. Zero is my heart dog

He gets you with the cute and then you discover that he is, infact, an evil genius.... Well except when he plays fetch, in which case, he's an uncoordinated klutz. Introducing the "oh s***! Missed!" expression!

I get wolf quite a lot, and failing that malamute. I get mal a whole lot more than i get sibe but Zero is a big boy so i kind of get that. The wolf thing still makes me laugh - no matter how many times you tell people that no, a siberian husky is no more a wolf than your average dog, I get the lecture about not knowing what I'm talking about. Even when I launch into the "siberians are an ancient breed, 2500 years of sibe breeding blah blah blah", i still get the people who obviously know more than me because their next door neighbour used to have one and it was a wolf.....

Zero doesn't have a problem in summer - he has 2 waterbuckets and his pool so if he's hot, he puts his feet in and digs water at himself.

I've done a course so technically would be considered qualified. However, i could have gone through that entire course without touching a single dog. There is no way in hell i would consider myself qualified. i would like to learn more but i work full time and so can't just sit in on someone else grooming.

You can swim with your dog at bayview. Zero loves being in the water with me!
