I might pop to the show again this year it was great last year seeing all the dogs at thier finest! RP, your baby sounds great, got any photos? I think I seen one on facey. Whats everyone up to for new years? Anything interesting, we thought we might go to Pt Fairy and watch the parade. A friend at work give me this for xmas, I love it!

ML, cute video! Here is a couple of my lot on xmas day, there wasn't much in the loot that interested my Lacy girl but the rest were impressed. of course the ball girl Tully-Jo has loved all her balls and driven us to distraction with them all. Here she is with 2 of them.

I think this thread needs more photos! The only dog related thing I got this year was a badge, can anyone guess what it said?

Sorry cant help with any info on the above mentioned illnesses, just wanted to say hope your girl is going to be ok, it's awful when they are sick, you feel so helpless. Healing thoughts from us. x

Helen I think I might give it another crack, not sure how I will go but hoping for a better year so fingers crossed Ill make it all the way. Lacy will be my subject.

Loving the pics and videos, My lot had a ball this morning checking out all the new toys. the favorites were the cuz with a tail and the racoon tail which Bronson absolutley loved, and the assortment of balls for Tully she was in her element!!

Those Bunnies are great, my lot love them! Mine got too much to mention!

Yes freak accident for sure, only just the other day Sean made himself a sandwich and left some ham scraps in a plastic bag on the bench and said to me, "there is some hams scraps there for the dogs" I said yep ok I will give them to them shortly" only to find a little while later the bag ripped open and no ham to be found, whoops, I must have been out of the room because no way would they dare d that if I was around! Little toads. hope you get your delivery before Xmas, I have been waiting for a parcel from the US since the 23rd Nov and it still hasn't turned up, really hoping before xmas but I think it has got lost in the mail. I have ordered other stuff after this and already got it.

Hey Guys just popped in to say hi, its been pretty hectic the last few weeks, with work xmas etc! Jj, mum was very impressed with your shop and all the scaleys. CB has some news too big congrats, she might pop in here at some stage, she's been quiet like the rest of us. Had some devastating news today, a friend had her dog die due to a plastic bag, the dog got the bag ( it had food in it) which was initially out of reach and some how suffocated herself. She has a litter of puppies, they will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. So sad.

Sounds like you have well and truly made up your mind!! TLC can I just say I love your xmas siggy. Thanks Our council allows 3 dogs per household at the moment and in the future the laws are changing to 2 per household. I got a Permit for my 4th, the council did a ring around and door knocked a couple of my neighbours to see if my resident dogs were any problem and then they gave me the permit. Wow, what a fur family you have, thats awesome!

If it is possible give her a run before you go, this will give you a few hours of driving knowing she has toileted and let off a bit of energy. Me and my 4 travel to my mums (7 hour drive) regularly and I usually only stop once, mine sleep the whole way occasionally cracking an eye lid through towns when I slow down etc. On occasion I have stopped a second time if one has indicated they need a stop or if it is extra hot for drinks. Mine have been seasoned travelers from the time I got them and are very used to it. But for Poppy I would definatley recommend a few stops along the way especially if the day is hot. Have you considered travelling at night?

They are really good in he tub and you right they don't look impressed especially Coop and Tully, Lacy loves the water, she's the Stevie Wonder of the bath tub! It's interesting to hear others views. I occasionally put mine in the shower except Cooper he is not a fan of showers, he's more if a tub boy. KM, I'm impressed 3 big dogs in 10 mins, that's great and the dryers are crappy not warm enough but apparently they are only allowed to have them set to a certain temp.

Ewww that's gross about the foot infections, but I do think in summer it would be the type of environment bacteria would grow in. I know the new one I'm using occasionally is well maintained, the owner is great, hopefully he will stay on top of regular cleaning etc. S n T I'm pretty sure your right and the water is mains water.

Yep, my dogs will come into the shower for a wash (even if you don't want them there). I try to only do one at a time though.....they're Great Danes and it can get squishy I can't imagine a GD in the shower, now that would be a sight. The water pressure in the tru blu ones is really quite good and there is a range of different settings the nozzle can be on to make the water faster or slower. Gayle I definatley know what you mean about the time factor, having bigger dogs it would take ages. I find if mine just need a freshen up I can do all 4 in about 12 minutes. At home it takes much longer, Is the purple horse stuff you use called glo white? I use that on my white girl, it's great, I only use it about once a month as I do find it dries her coat out, I have to use extra conditioner when I use it.

BB, not sure if your joking but our car wash here would blow my guys into next week. PM, your set up sounds great, I'm dreaming of having my own hydro bath one day, just need to win tattslotto first, actually the tru blu dog washes are made here in town, I asked the guy how much as I wanted one and he said for a cool 17K we will make you one. so I keep dreaming.
