DA, GSP puppies are soooo cute, there is a GSP that comes with his owner to our local park (fully grown) and he is such a nutter but in a nice way, His name is Bruce, he streaks across the park saying hello to everyone and he never stops, he is so friendly and he just runs everywhere at full speed. We had him and his sister at our obedience school and the sister was totally the opposite!

I can't remember if I have asked this already but is anyone feeding their cats BH? My mums kitty is on BH and at the start he loved it, like really loved it and was doing so well on it and couldn't tolerate any type of other wet food especially meat, he can eat fish ok but other stuff seems to effect him, anyhow now he has gone totally off his dry food and mum said he hardly touches it. Is it possible he got sick of it? Are they like us? I feed it to the dogs and they eat it fine every night with the occasional bit of variety but the dry as their main diet. Just wondered if anyone else has found this with their cats?

Well I am one step ahead, well 2. got my tree up and got most of my shopping done! I think I will be ok to get mum if not Sean will be home to get her, but thanks for the offer!

Tanya I am only going occasionally, and when I go now I am joining in the classes instead of teaching the classes. I told them I wanted to do that for a while as I felt a little burnt out from teaching. I missed a lot of weeks when I was sick then after my step dad died I hadn't been for ages, so it just went on the back burner. I will go occasionally now when I feel like it, which is great for the time being. I didn't end up going today, Ive got a rotten cold (Seans fault) and got up late then decided when it was cold out not to go. Im like you Tanya, love all the xmas food but sad thing here is I have to cook it all myself! although so lucky this year I will have mum and she will probably be in the kitchen more than me! It might be a bit boring for her the days I have to go to work but we have put a big TV in her room and she has all the mod cons here so she can just have a rest and chill out! Can't wait till she gets here, only 16 more sleeps, I must find out what time the night train gets in as I am working till 10 the night she arrives.

Oh thanks, I like it too, wow new critters, they sound awesome, cant wait to see some pics. Will you have the croc in the shop, or will he be a pet for home. Some how croc and pet don't seem right int he same sentence! Me, well Sean keeps asking me what I want and I just don't know, it will probably be some new techy gadget! I am going to be home, well work will be my home away from home. However I have got my mum going for xmas this year which will be good for her, but hard as it will be her/our first xmas with out my step dad. I have got her lots of xmas goodies so she will be well occupied with a new kindle, an mp3 player, chockies a new diary and some other bits and pieces, I know it can't make up for him not being here but it might be enough to take her mind of it, well I hope!! We have our Dog obedience break up tomorrow, so that might be a bit of fun. Then next week we go to the hospital with the Delta dogs to meet our new sponsors for the year and they want to take some photos, so that should be good! Already had one Christmas party, another one tomorrow but I think I will give that a miss. Then next weekend is our dog/Santa weekend at my friends house in Bacchus marsh which I am looking forward to, however a little pissed off as we were staying at the B & B in Baliang but found out they closed down, but I guess these things happen, so it looks like we are just heading down on the day, so it will be a long one but well worth it, we always have a great time. Then another xmas dinner the following week, I will be exhausted by xmas day. On the upside I have all of my shopping done, food (apart from fresh stuff) and presents (apart from 2) so thats me organised!!

I don't need any more crates, I have a metal and a soft one and a huge one as well so we are pretty set, it is only Bronson that sleeps in a crate here, and as they say it is only a bargain if you need it! It has been quiet in here, I have been busy with work, dogs etc you know the drill I'm sure everyone is the same this time of year! Hows everyone else doing?

A hydro bath!!

After my boys first grooming session which was an abomination and he looked so hideous for a long time and I cried when I picked him up because he just looked ridiculous and the bows just made him look even more silly. Since that day I have an aversion to bows on groomed dogs! In my mine now its like oh well maybe if we put a bow in thier fur they won't notice what a crap job we done with grooming him!! Your boy does look very handsome, my first dog was a blue roan English Cocker and she was a darling and very similar to your boy. Ps I groom all of mine myself, that way I can do it the way I want it to look and we haven't looked back.

All 4 of my dogs from 8 weeks of age came with me everywhere possible, I spoke to vets and other "dog/animal" people to find out if there had been any cases of parvo, KC in the area and I was satisfied it was safe enough for them. The only place I avoided till they were fully vaccinated was the beach. All of mine attended puppy pre school from 8 weeks of age as well. Enjoy Christmas with your new puppy, sounds like you are sensible and have it all sorted! Now I must know what sort of puppy are you getting and do you have any pictures??

My guys spend 20 hours a week alone whie I'm at work ( 4 x 5 hour shifts) and the rest of the time I'm with them mostly apart from the odd outing on my own, shopping occasional appointment, delta volunteer work ( one comes with for that) etc. I've videoed my lot while ive been at work and hey sleep, sleep and more sleep! I hope in my next lie I come back as a dog with someone like me for an owner. Mostly everything I do is revolved around the dogs needs!

You had great seats Sway! Arrrr to be that close to Cesar, hubba hubba his dog knowledge is a bonus!! Jamesn184, I have seen an enormous amount of Cesars shows and never once have I seen him hit or kick a dog? Are you sure you have the right person. Granted he is not for everyone but I have put some of his methodology into practise and it works a treat. A lot of what he says is purely common sense, you listen to him and find yourself going Mmmm yea you are so right!!
