From whom? Let me guess.. another of the "they're just dogs" brigade? Ignore them. Not from family and friends, Charlie and Emmy all considered as family now. Poodlefan.. pretty much!! Sitting at the waiting room yesterday for Charlie's appointment... there was a couple there and we were talking, and their dogs name was Storm and Banjo, and I told them my dogs name. the lady's first reaction was 'oh, you're one of those small dog owner, aren't you?' and her partner was like 'why the hell do people give their dogs human names for?' Just ignore idiots like that although giving them a piece of your mind would have made you feel better! We have lots of dogs come through our obedience school called Charlie I think there is human names and then there is human names that could be dog names as well, mine for example, well Bronson was named after Charles Bronsons so he really has a surname. Cooper and Tully I don't think are terribly common among human folk, not that I ave come across anyhow. And Lacy well I have a girl at work who has a daughter called Lacy. Real human names can be tricky, we have a girl at obedience whos name is Carol and her dog is Becky and for the life of me every time I look at them both I have to remind myself the dog is Becky and the lady is Carol, so confusing!!

Nothing wrong with it, mine have middle names too! Who is giving you a hard time about it? Family, friends?

Thanks RP, I am already onto the pumpkin for Lacy, she does like it too which is a bonus! The other 3 are hilariousl when Lacy is getting her steamed chicken and pumpkin, they are all looking at me as if to say " what the shes getting that and we are getting dry mum you have got to be joking. " I am also adding a little pysillium to her food too. Well I don't know about being a booler I have never been called that before JJ, sorry I didn't have longer to chat today, everyone seems to be in a little panic mode out there at the moment because we have stock take next week. Gee I am praying our stocktake days are not hot like the last couple have been. I have just been talking to my mum and it has been over 40 where she lives, she thinks one of the hottest days she can remember!

I am happy if I just get a pic for the day and if I like it it is a plus, Don't think I could commit to a month of anything really unless it was dogs only because thats what I usually take my pics of boring I know!! Well done everyone for sticking at it!!

Hi Guys, just wondering if any of you have come across this with your pcs before. I put my sd card in it last night and it flashed on the screen that it recognized it but then disappeared. I did this a few times and once managed to quickly click on open files and when I did it told me I couldnt access this card. I thought it might have just been a dodgy card but now today I have tried with a different card and same thing. The card had been formatted so it was fresh. I did a diagnostic check and it said it detected a problem and to try again as it had fixed it but still the card reader wouldn't read the card. Computer is only new 6 months oldish and I have never had this happen before but it sure is a pain in the butt. I have to download the pics through my netbook onto a usb to put them back onto my regular pc to edit them. Now after that long winded story I am hoping someone has some clues??

More good shots. Wow Nik, that is one high jump!

Glad your op is coming up soon, the time will go quick i'm sure. What a pain having to wait that long at the station. A similar thing happened to my mum and step day one day they had missed thier train and had to wait 5 more hours for the next one, and like you were tired (also my step dad is sick) and my mum did what you did and layed down and an official railway person came along and told them it wasnt allowed. So they got moved on pretty quickly. You must have struck a lucky day to be a hobo Lacy is a little bit better today that yesterday so Im thinking she will get better each day so I am a bit more relaxed about the whole thing today, I hate it when they are sick. Don't know what happened tp RJ and the pics, she must be busy busy busy and I think she went back to work today!

Thanks Guys, well I have never seen a dog wake up so well from anesthetic, Lacy was real good when I went and picked her up, she seemed a lot happier. The vet still wasn't sure what the problem was. She had really bad constipation, and some blood where it shouldnt have been. so that was part of the problem, but the vet said she had a bug for sure to have been vomiting so much. She gave me some tablets for colitis, she said her large intestine was inflamed. I'm thinking she must have felt so much better after a good clean out. She is still not quite herself but so much better than she was. Coopers lump on his face is just like a wart/skin tag on a person, so they have just said to leave it be for the time being and keep an eye on it. If it gets bigger or bothering him, then they will take it off! Jess, bum about the lake! Rural Pug, it was nice to meet you and hope you will stick around this thread since you are practically one of us anyway living so close. You do live in Ballarat don't you?

If I edit in picasa, and then want to save it I export. I also use picasa for making my pics smaller did you notice when you export, you can do it at 100% quality or you can bump it down significantly. All my posted pics on the forum are exported from picasa and reduced to 480 pixels. I do most of my editing in LR, then open picasa and export the edited pics back to my pictures at 480 which goes into the picasa folder and then upload to flickr or PB or where ever so they are not to big. Gee just read that back and it sounds like double dutch but makes sense to me

Well I had to leave my girl at the vets, they were going to give her a GA and do exploritry surgery to see if they could find out what was happening re the rear end. The vet could feel something, she is either guessing an obstruction or really bad constipation due to her being sick. But she was only guessing so I will know more when I go back to pick her up hopefully by one she will right to come home. The lump on Coopers face is nothing to worry about and she said they will only take it off if it starts annoying him, or if it gets bigger. Geez it's a worry when they are sick, I really wanna ring now to see how they went but I am going to do my best to be patient and leave it till 1.

Im off to the vet at 9.30 and taking both. Lacy has stopped vomiting and only tiny amount of liquid coming from other end, so I am pretty sure it is only gastro type bug but will feel better once the vet looks at her. And praying the thing on CJ s face is nothing sinister, like you said it will probly be nothing. Shan had a ook too and she thought the sam thing! Ill be back later with an update. JJ are you all moved? You'd be stuffed after yesterday with the weather being so hot!

	thats great!

Not much again from me today, I have a sick doggie so we are trying to stay as quiet as possible and Bronson was not impressed as he always likes someone to play with and of course while me, OH and Lacy and Tully were awake most of the night Bronson and Cooper slept through the whole thing, so here Bronsons is looking most annoyed as all his doggy buds are asleep 30/365 Won't someone play with me. by CLTB, on Flickr This was taken not long after he finally gave in and went to sleep. Love the way CJs foot is on top of his head! Joined the pack by CLTB, on Flickr

Well it's a strange thing, she does want to go but nothing coming out? She had a bit of the squirts last night before the vomiting started but that was it. I don't think there is anything left to come out. Poor little pet, she has had a couple of drinks of water but refused the chicken I give her. Will definatley take her to the vets tomorow when I take Cooper. Tenties did you go back to the show today? Is currently 35 in town. Jess eBay is good and cheap for iPod covers.
