What a stinker of a day. I've had Lacy up sick all night, vomiting and just generally unwell panting shivering, so I have had zero sleep. She seems to be ok now, nothing left to vomit. She is sleeping now. I'll give her some chicken in a bit and see how she goes. I'm hoping it is just a gastro type of bug and nothing more serious. Jess, pity I hadn't of met you before you got your net book, you could have had a play with my ipad and saved yourself some $$ They are just the bees knees though!! Jess you sound so similar to me, we moved a bit as kids, then when I got with my OH we moved a lot our biggest being to the other side of Sydney for a while, similar to Jjs move not quite so bad, we had a car that wasn't up to the job we were piled high with everything we could fit in the car, the rest with the removal truck. I was about 40 degrees the day we left and we had the cat with us, she was a trooper in the car more like a dog really, we didnt even have her in a crate! But we made the trip. JJ your trip over sounded like a nightmare. Funny though when you go through hard times like that it makes everything else seem so much simpler and you look back on that experience and think well if we survived that move we can survive any I bet they are cooking at the show today. JJ it was way after lunch when I seen Donna, so she must have taken Hunter home and come back. Still waiting for RJs pics, maybe she went back to the show today? She doesn't mind this weather! I hate it with a passion!

I was thnking of you JJ, but no sipping on Champers for me I hate the stuff. But I did notice however the showing and drinking seems to go hand in hand!! Its funny I can see why people enjoy it but its definatley something I would not do, showing that is not drinking but I did enjoy meeting a few new people and seeing all the different dogs, some quite spectacular especially the poos!! I feel for you moving, we have moved about 20 times in the last 20 years and its not fun, only once we used a mover and that was from warrnambool to sydney and back again but all the other times we have done it ourselves, no wonder my back is stuffed come to think of it. I seen Donna today, don't think she had any of her dogs entered actually I didnt even see one vizsla, Im sure they were there just didnt see any. I was going to say Hi to Donna, (not sure she would remember me but I was going to say hi anyway) but when I turned to see her she was gone. Im hoping Rj comes in soon to pop some more pics up, not sure if she took any ring side she was too busy drooling over her chosen breed :D

Oh Jess, I didnt realize you had an ipad, I thought you ended up with a net book, how awesome is the ipad do you love it or what!! DId you get the ipod touch 4? it can basically do everything the iphone can do but make calls clever little machine. If you have frineds with ipods/iphones, get an app called yak and you can text using a wirless network. So cool. There was an add in todays paper for a apple support person and one of the girls at work was reading it out to me she said :D this job is so made for you Geez I'd love it too but it was in Melbourne!!

Tanya, Im thinking tomorow might be a bit hot for my liking. We did have a nice time today and also got to say hi to Jess again which was a bonus. Also met Theresa (GSDs) Rural pug, (Sorry can't remember your name) and a few others from DOL. Tenties are you home from tea already?

Well it was nice to meet a few more DOLers today. Some lovely dogs and a such a nice day for a show although perhaps a little warm for some of the doggies. Mawson and Cooper bahaved themselves beautifully. Took some quick snaps with my iphone, (should have taken the real camera ) RJ got some pics too so hopefully she will pop some up later. How rude!! More rudeness

She has settled in so fast it's like she's always been here. She's only had one accident inside (and that was in the first hour we got her, because she didn't know where to go) and she and Akira are best friends already. We just supervised them in a wrestling match on one of the pen-free periods, and she was yanking Akira's ruff and pulling her tail. The first day Akira wasn't very gentle, but now she's realised that she has to be a little more careful and the only way she'd hurt Halo now is if she stepped on her while trying to get her to let go of her. I only use the feeding guide as just that a guide. I have two fatties and two just rights so I have to do a bit of food shuffling to get amounts right etc. I also judge it on how much excersise or how busy the dogs have been for the day for example if I have worked and we don't happen to get out for a run they will get under the normal amount and if we have been for a run or two they will get the required amount sometimes a little extra. It also depends on if they have had bones that day as well. WHat type of dog is yours. Sounds very much like my two thinner dogs, I would love both of them to be about 1/2 kilo heavier but they don't seem to put on weight no matter how much food they eat. I think they just have really good metabolisms also when we are out and about they run and run and have so much energy. Maybe your boy is similar to mine in this respect.

Well count me out for the BBQ but I will be there after work for sure, at this stage I knock off at 1 so it will be after that. Tenties where do you mean the playground? Or is that special show speak for something :D I didn't think there was a playground at the venue? Maybe I have the wrong venue in mind?

Well that's great news girls! Not so good news for me coming to say hi at the show on Saturday I won't know for sure till tomorrow but it looks like I am doing the 10 till 3 shift on Saturday, so annoyed as I had got Shan sorted to come too. Tully and Mawson did their hospital visit today and were just amazing again if I do say so myself. nothing like a bit of a brag, very proud of my girls!

Here is the orignal you posted above and one edited in LR, there is no sharpen in LR but clarity, I think it is the same thing. Im no expert for sure. The only other thing I did was made the black a little blacker. For the record, I always think your pics are awesome!

Im not that strict as some. Mine usually sit a little way from the table and hope for a skerrick of left overs which is very rare depending on what we are eating. If we eat in the lounge they sit and stare as they are closer. MY OH hates this so mostly they go outside if this is the case. probly 8 nights out of 10 we all eat at the same time which is handy. Corvus as to what constitutes begging, my white girl after I taught her to beg she does it on her own now when she wants something weather it be food or attetnion and it is so dam cute, my OH gives in but I don't. When we do our hospital visits she has figured out it gets her more pats if she does a little beg oh and there is no licking of any dishes we eat off, I just couldn't do it!!

I mean they all looked great on that but so much better on here, must be the graphics side of the pc that make the pics more vibrant or something? Ill be back later with mine.
