  1. They are a bargain, I paid $50 for Coopers. ;) Pet barn is a rip off at $90
  2. Hi CW, I think Charlie still looks great. Do you have him regularly clipped, his coat doesn't look like it even needs to be clipped?? (What is Charlie crossed with? he looks very Cavvy?) Just a little tidy up. It can be devestating when you don't get what you asked for, My oldest first hair cut was attrocious I ;) when I went to pick him up!! I now do all my lot myself and they had a recent haircut and they are all 8mm long on thier bodies. They all have a better wardrobe than me!! I clip my lot regularly regardless of the weather as they all sleep inside and can wear a jacket if it is cold. Kyla that Yapwear stuff is awesome. I also like the DGG stuff that they sell in kmart and big W, the hoodies are cute and warm, they are polar fleece. Great if you want tummy coverage. Weatherbeeta stuff is good too. Also try ebay for doggy clothes, some great bargains to be had there!! Hope we get to see charlie in his new gear!
  3. Hi, It was Coopers Birthday last month and I made doggy cup cakes, with 4 it was worth it to make the cup cakes, they lasted a week. You could always halve the recipie. Here is the thread, the recipie is at the bottom of the 2nd post. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...=195522&hl=
  4. Tez, I hope we get to have a proper photoshoot of Gus before he gets to much older. I'm sure Gus is going to be a fairly big boy, but I don't hold much faith in the loose skin means lot of growing to do, Cooper still has loads of loose skin and he is 4. Don't think he is going to have a growth spurt any time soon. Tenites any news about your car yet?
  5. Gee JJ, he is a bit of a looker, actually he looks like a wise old man in the first shot, a lot older than 10 weeks. Will you show him?
  6. As they say Jess, time flys when your having fun!! Happy Birthday Zee, hope you have had a fab day!!
  7. Great shots, looks like you are both enjoying the camera!! The waterfall shots are great.
  8. How rude, insulting you about your pup + a cranky dog in the store = find somewhere else to shop!! Does anyone who lives in Melbourne go to Pets & the City? Wendy the proprietor and her Cocker Spaniels Georgie and Lilly are just awesome. I visit when I go to Melbourne and have had all mine in the shop and the dogs are extremely well behaved and very welcoming!!
  9. Hi I add corn to the veg mix mine eat but after the first time adding corn off the cob and like STB said it comes out the other end whole. I just use creamed corn and no sign of it out the other end. I had the same thought about Cabbage and how it would affect them but I posted about it a while ago and the general consensus was that it would be fine in moderation so I add that as well.
  10. Awesome photos!! Look forward to more.
  11. Awww that's so cute, Big bear hugs!!
  12. @ Linda, mine are shockers at Obedience if it has been raining, the cold they can deal with its the wet ground they don't like. The trainer always says oh they have water dog in them they shouldn't mind at all.....try telling them that. Don't know if you can see the distain on CJ's face in the drop stay shots. But it is funny they can run around in the rain and it doesn't bother them at all!!
  13. Hey Fran, when I first started out, instead of using automatic I started out using P or program and the camera still does a lot of the work for you but you can change things like Exposure compensation, white balance iso etc. It used to annoy me on automatic because as soon as you get in a spot with low light the flash would automatically pop up or the camera just wouldn't take the shot. I still use automatic focus most of the time too.
  14. I didn't really take any notice of Marley, I was too busy looking at your handsome boy!! Trishs gloves did look lovely and warm, she said they were handspun wool or something or other.
  15. So many more good shots! Bec love Asha int he scarf, looks like it was made for her Huga, love the leggy Lola shot, it just works!! I snapped a few shots at the park and this was one of them, nothing special about it but I just liked it, Its just Cooper!! I couldn't decide if I like the green one or the edited one??
  16. Here is master Bullet being a good little Stafford too. Shelly one of the SEDA dogs What now mum?? Ready to work Our drop stay was interesting All good so far Shellys first time trying drop stay with a group Ah dogs I just wanna play says Shelly It was a cold start but it picked up through the day thank goodness. A great day was had by all!!
  17. Hi Guys, just wanted to post a few pics from Obedience today. Tez's Gus had his first lesson today and he was a little star, what a good little dog he is and soooo cute!! he was a little shy but then mixed with the other dogs and went and said hello to all the people. A very cruisy little dog, you got a good one there Tez, can't wait to see Jane and Gus together. Tez, i reckon you look like you have lost lots of weight, and you look freezing in this picture and Gus looks cold in this shot. Here's Nana Nike in amongst it. the look on Gus's face in this shot is funny he looks like he is saying What the?? Gus saying hello to Harvey the boxer pup Sit Good boy!! Im sure Cooper is telling Gus here that not to worry that he doesn't have Jane to look after him because he will Then Gus is telling Abby who was new too, not to worry as Cooper will look after us
  18. Thanks! We are so lucky here that our park is without incidents. I know there may come a time when we are not so lucky and I try not to get complacent. I think it is always seems different in the cities where there is new dogs coming and going all the time.
  19. They look like they are having a great time!! Good to see the ball being shared around, is one of your more ball oriented than the other? My white girl is ball crazy and the only reason Cooper or Bronson want the ball is so she will chase them
  20. Ah Tez, you know my lot so well!! Why is it that the whitest dog is the dirtiest dog, whether it be pooh, mud, water or any other dirty thing she can get into she will. The other day she rolled in Pooh and I washed her 3 times and clipped her the next day and could still see the stain from the darn pooh!! Tully is certainly the biggest tom boy ever.
  21. It's funny, I was only just saying to Sparkys owner (she has never been to this park before) that all the dogs that frequent this park are all friendly and every one we come across tonight I had never seen before and they were all like old friends. Cooper makes it so easy as he is always the ice breaker and sooooo sociable, he has to say hi to everyone in the park. But at the same time a very good judge of character, if the other dog shows signs of not being friendly he doesn't go any closer and turns back around and comes back to me and the other dogs. I agree, there is always a lot of nasty and horrible dog park stories, it is nice to hear some good ones. Maybe others would like to post thier positive dog park stories here too??
  22. ;) you don't wanna see my bedroom, it's like one big comfy dog kennel....
