  1. So when exactly is she due? Need to clear the calendar for baby watch... *grin* I'm still tipping 6 pups - 4 girls, 2 boys... T.
  2. Some of my vommy fosters used to do a little better if I placed the crate right in the middle of the back seat - facing so they can see out the front windscreen from the crate door mesh. If it is fear, you are going to have to try desensitisation exercises like I outlined in a previous post... T.

My dogs would have seen his willy as a new type of tug toy... ouch! T.
  4. She'll probably cope better than you will... lol! T.
  5. It's been 9 years since mine was that cute... and she was a terror too... named her Trouble... lol! I can say that they DO grow out of most of the sillyness and cray-cray stuff by about... ummm... never! I had a vet tell me once that Labs grow a brain and settle down about 10 mins before they die... tongue in cheek, of course... I think... *grin* T.
  6. That she does! 7 isn't really that many... she has 10 boobies, so they should all get a feed without having to supplement... easy peasy! *grin* I've had up to 14 here (2 litters of fosters) at one time... lots of poo... but also lots of puppy breath to go around... yay! T.
  7. Does she start drooling even before you start moving? I had one that used to do that, so I kinda desensitised her by opening the car door, letting her in it, and just sitting there for a few minutes. We progressed to then having the car running but not moving for a few minutes, then up to backing down the drive and back again. Short trips up and down the road or around the block, etc... built it up to a point where I could drive for nearly an hour before she vommed... lol! T.
  8. Look at all those swelling boobies... even the top ones are popped... I'm tipping at least 6... maybe even 7! T.
  9. OMG! What a load she has going on there! Anyone taking bets on mix of sexes? I'm going to start with 4 girls and 2 boys... *grin* T.
  10. Scrolling down from the first post, I kept saying to all the guesses... Bulldog... and then finally someone got it... lol! Bulldog puppies are the cutest thing ever... we will need LOTS of photos! T.
  11. Love the explanation DeltaCharlie... spot on! T.
  12. I had a Rotti pair who were very close. When Blossom passed, Rastus sat on her grave in the back yard for 3 whole weeks! Rain, hail, or shine, he sat there - we even had to take food and water out to him... we were starting to get really worried, but one day he just got up and came back to join the rest of us as though all was fine again. I rcently had to send my old girl to the Bridge... the other 3 were a bit unsettled for about 5 days as the routines all changed due to not having to accommodate the old wobbly girl any more. I wouldn't fuss over Chloe any more than usual - just make sure she learns the new routines with as little fuss as possible, and she'll come around in her own time, OK? T.
  13. Have you tried peppermint oil on her collar? Just a drop is enough... just make sure it doesn't come into contact with her puppy skin while wet. T.
  14. If all else fails, pinch her ear or lip - she then will realise that when she bites, you "bite" back. It doesn't have to be hard, just enough to get her attention... T.
  15. I used to skip any meal due before a car trip to reduce vom bombs... T.
  16. Neocort has a topical anaesthetic in it... you could try that. T.
  17. I just leave the back door open for mine, and they can come and go as they please through the night... ... except Harper who is crated overnight - but she has no trouble holding on... T.
  18. Give her a large wing and back off to an observation only distance... she's scoffing the darned things because she's worried you might take it away from her... You can easily get from one side of the yard to the other in time to assist if she does something silly. I'll guarantee that if you throw her a wing and stay away from her, she'll be just fine... I have over 200 raised pups to back me up on that one, OK? Do NOT give her necks if she's got a habit of not chewing properly! T.
  19. Are you hovering about her while she eats? That will make her try to eat faster... stay a reasonable distance while you observe. T.
  20. Nawww... Stan is such a handsome boy... Happy gotcha Day Stan... may your dreams come true and mum leaves the fridge or cupboard door open today! T.
  21. So many places and events are becoming anti-dog nowadays... how the hell does anyone think dogs can get decent social skills training now? T.
  22. Sounds like they are getting the idea now Sheridan... well done! T.
  23. Old dog barks aren't that loud really though, are they? T.
  24. Look at his huge feet! Got a good grip on the planet - that's for sure! T.
