Well done Sheridan! He'll love his walks more if he's allowed to check out some smells and the like for a little bit of the first part... I did find that mine settled down after the initial excitement of being out and about in the big wide world with all the new smells and such... T.

Chest and neck is the big fave here... then ears and top of head. Tummy rubs are for special occasions, so are valued highly too... T.

I noticed the wobbly back end on Gertie - but she has plenty of gusto for the telling off, so she can be forgiven putting herself in danger of baing knocked over... lol! Don't you just love the old dog bark... Zeddy's was hysterical when she tried to pretend she was a guard dog... T.

If you know what you want your dog to have, then that's what you tell the vet the dog is having... don't succumb to the upselling to the C7 if it's not required - and certainly don't let them browbeat you into any schedule you aren't comfortable with. T.

He'd pull to get to the spots he wanted to sniff and/or pee on... lol! Once we'd gotten about 50m, it was all business to proper walking. I used a check chain early in the piece to signal him that it's time to walk nicely now... T.

Love grumpy granny telling off the young'un... lol! T.

I used to let my male Rotti sniff and pee at his own leisure for the first 50m of our walks... let him get the first burst of excitement out of his system... T.

She's looking lovely! T.

Way too much of it in a single spot for macropod poo... unless there were more than one of them in the same spot. I'm getting really good at macropod poo, having to rake up a lot of it lately... lol! T.

And that's what any decent puppy mummy would do! T.

I had a pup that did that... her name was Rebel... lol! They will stop doing it in their own time... T.

Awww... looky at the paw... asking for comings inside from the wet stuff... lol! T.

O! M! G! She only gets more and more stunning... Happy Birthday Neko! T.

Kayla will never be far from you, as she lives forever in your heart... remember her well, and smile at the amazing memories she has given you over the years. Fly with the angels Kayla - you are in some pretty fine company over there at the Bridge - please say g'day to Woosie and Zeddy for me, OK? T.

Warning To Dog Owners 1080 Baiting Happening Soon In Victoria

They like it because its dead easy to distribute... not necessarily because it's actually effective at targetting the designated "pest" species... *sigh* T. -
Good points LG! T.

Absolutely agree, but I can understand why the community are upset. Especially when this isn't the first time those dogs have been out and about. I guess that's why they shouldn't get the chance the first time, nor the second. The pigs weren't that little though. Brave dogs! Pigs don't mess about. These dogs are aggressive. I'm sure they'd be interested in passing dogs, were there any. The owner is obviously incompetent, uncaring, stupid or all of the above. It isn't the dogs' fault, it is the owner BUT these dogs cannot go back to the owner and cannot be rehomed. We can't really make that assumption based only on media reporting of the story... the dogs may be perfectly fine with other dogs/humans... or not... we just don't know. Personally, I'd say that if these dogs have a previous record for menacing or attacking other animals, this should have been their last chance. They have proven that they will find their own "fun" if not contained properly by their owner.. TWICE now... and their owner has shown that they are not capable of containing them effectively. T.

1080 also kills some native wildlife species... quolls, for example - who are already bloody endangered... grrr! T. -
Pickles says she's sorry, but couldn't help it... she has so much naughty to share... T.

I swear that the people at ARH factored in a discount somewhere on Sunday night. I was told $220 basically just to walk through the door... and then the end bill total was only $255... Honestly, it's all been more of a relief than a grieving thing... I really thought she would have gone some years ago, and have been pretty well prepared for that length of time. I think of her and smile... she lives in my heart and memories, so that's a pretty good trade off if I can't have her in the flesh, yes? Right now I have Trouble giving me the starving Labrador eyes... dinner is running late... lol! T.
