  1. Ummm... bottom right... funny looking dog... lol! T.
  2. More puppies named today... a very outgoing girl is "Trouble and Strife" (already have a "Mischief"), her brother is "Candyman", and the littlest one is "Mighty Mouse"... *grin* T.
  3. Look like skin tags to me... especially if they bled a lot when plucked off... I'd advise to have a vet look at any more that pop up rather than plucking them off. T.
  4. I'm loving spending time with my new skin and fur friends... and we are giving some of the dog runs a makeover as well... hard work, great company, and puppy cuddles as a bonus... I named a pup today... her name is Biddy... lol! She's an "iddy biddy bubby"... definitely growing on me, but NOT gonna bring her home... I'm too busy to bring up a puppy properly at the moment. (I've already decided that my next pup is going to be a Rotti... and a boy... from another awesome breeder here on DOL... hope she's still breeding when I'm ready for a pup... errr!) T.
  5. My guys are still getting through their "care package" from @animallover99... and look forward to treat time every day... *grin* T.
  6. You should see the myriad things that pass through my 15kg Camp Dog... truly mindbending... lol! She's partial to woollen blankets, sheets, towels, cardboard, nylon, rocks, sticks, poop, etc... she'll eat anything! T.
  7. Sloppy licks and big woo-woos back at ya @animallover99 T.
  8. Still travelling along fine. The tumour is still growing, but doesn't seem to be worrying her at all. Still crunching up and swallowing chicken carcases, so that's a good sign, yes? Looking at me right now as if to say "ummm... dinner was supposed to be earlier than this..." Gotta love a Lab! T.
  9. If there is surplus, and won't be used by the rescue before the use by date, then I'd say that would be OK... I've been in the position where my own dogs were given food by the rescue my fosters were with... but usually I'd be the one supplying food for all animals at my house - my own AND the fosters. It can even out... sometimes... T.
  10. We need a Love button.... how adorable are they? T.
  11. And another day with great company and awesome doggy cuddles... I'm truly enjoying the new friends (skin and fur) I've made through this forum... genuine people with the same love for animals as me... T.
  12. Well thought out questions, and allows the participant a fair scope to explain their stance... well done! Would be interested to see the end result... T.
  13. I had amazingly gorgeous subjects, you have to admit... *grin* T.
  14. She's the loveliest natured mumma I've ever met @animallover99 - and the babies have learned all her best moves to get pats and cuddles... hehe! The little light faced girl seems to have taken a shine to me also... wherever I was sitting, she'd trot over and sidle up to snuggle in close... not the easiest to get photos of when they do that... lol! She was the shyest thing a couple of weeks ago... now she's one of the most confident little munchkins... oh... and very demanding of tummy rubs! She is also a thinker... you can almost see her little brain ticking over when you stare into her gorgeous eyes. She's going to end up someone's heart dog methinks... she just has that aura about her. T.
  15. ... and one more just because... T.
  16. Got me lots of cuddles today... ... and some photos... *grin* A day well spent methinks... lol! T.
  17. Hehe! Kinda sidetracked with all the cuddles... especially with Bluebell... she's such a lovely mumma girl... T.
  18. Photos may be taken tomorrow... we got a bit busy yesterday... *grin* T.
  19. And another wonderful day spent in good company... and puppy cuddles... *grin* How good were we to get that many panels into the float? The new pens are gonna be awesome! Looking forward to Sunday... T.
  20. OMG! Those ears are to die for... lol! All the better to hear when the treats are coming out, yes?
  21. Refer to a crossbreed by some fancy "breed" name and flog it for a motza on Gumtree... perfectly acceptable apparently... ... but refer to the same dog by it's breed mix and advertise it as a rescue, and suddenly it's "worth" less? I'm not comparing crossbreeds/rescues to purebred dogs from reputable and ethical breeders... apples and oranges as far as I'm concerned. T.
  22. I'd love to see pricing for rescue animals reflect their true value... in many cases the animals in question have been thoroughly vetworked, temperament assessed, and if necessary, rehabilitated for medical/physical/mental issues. Homes are usually fairly well checked out and matched to a particular animal's/family's needs... and that alone is actually priceless IMHO. The myth/perception that rescue animals are in some way "lesser" than animals sourced from anywhere else, and as such should be cheaper to purchase, needs to be kyboshed... T.
