50 bucks says Ruby will be placed last in the lineup tonight. Every big trial, she gets whacked on the end! Has the catalogue been released anywhere yet like the agility one has, or do we have to wait til we get there tonight to find out our fate?

Nope there is no training on public holidays, CC. Mason2009 - you don't need to be a breeder to get the discount. BP&G offers 10% off for Dogswest members Edit: I swear I answered both those questions an hour ago but my reply got sucked into a black hole or something :D

Yup good luck everyone!! My only expectation is to eat, drink and be merry If I get anything decent in the ring, then that's a bonus
-
Yeah if we could camp I would have also watched tomorrow and sunday night but its such a long trek if I am not competing it hardly seems worth it petrol wise... As if, you hate camping
-
Not sure what advert that would be useful for, but that's a damn good trick

Millie jumps into the air to catch balls and food, and makes this chomping noise mid air, if they are interested

What!? Everytime I see that ad and the puppy does the little whine thing I can't help but go "Nawwwwww" To non-Lab people I guess they all look the same As confirmed by my sister when I asked her how gorgeous a puppy was and she was like ermm they all look the same to me Don't get me wrong, it's definitely cute, I've just seen cuter Lab puppies, that's all I know what I think is a pretty Lab and what I think is an ugly one, and that will obviously differ to the next person :p I think the Lab they use as the adult version of the one bringing the empty toilet roll is a hunk of spunk

Thanks Jodie... and she knows it too Lappies are lovely dogs She might end up being a film star too! Just got a phone call from someone looking for a Lappy to star in a TV commercial Given there aren't that many Lappies in WA who could do what they need (I can think of maybe 3 and that is pushing it) I may as well send her photo in They pay $500 as well! Wow, ask them if they need an Aussie or Pap for any other commercials then I can send the kids out to work for me instead of me working for them. They would be making more than me at that rate. That is so cool mirawee! How'd they get your number? Ask if they need a yellow Lab, I think that child of mine should also go out and earn herself some dollars! I say her and not Millie cos the yellows show up so much better in print and stuff, and she's a natural born model when the camera comes out, just poses there like a princess She has a few party tricks, too And yep, I'm biased, but I think she's so much prettier than half the Labs they stick in Kleenex commercials :p :D The current puppy they use isn't that attractive, but the adult boy they use is pretty spunky :D

Fingers cross for puppies, ST!! Woohoo Does anyone have their K9 news handy, or a good memory, to let me know what date retrieving training starts? Not sure if it's this weekend or next. I'm guessing next, as it's poor organisation to start it Classic weekend!!

That's what I'm thinking, saves heaps on accommodation, but not sure I could travel without accommodation booked in advance! I'm not very good at winging stuff How have you found finding accommodation in time, Elina? Many issues? Have you had to stay at a hotel anywhere when you couldn't find a housesit in time? Just curious Hope you've enjoyed your stay here!

Awww you're no fun :D

I like my clicker, not too soft, not too loud, and it has a switch thingy on the back so you can adjust the click noise 3 ways. Mine were cheapies from ebay in the UK, cost like $1 each or something. I bought 3 when I first got Ruby 4 years ago, and still have 2 of them! I think the original will be found when mum and dad pack up their house when they move I lose everything but gobsmacked I still have my original clickers

He will be fine, just like the rest of our dogs are fine when they get to stay home all day without us. :D If I end up taking a new job offer, mine will be at home 10 or more hours a day on their own, instead of the current 9 hours. I don't think they will notice as much as I will! ooh what's the new job?

I'd love a job away from computers for a change!

Endurance Test 2011 Thread

Oh no Poor Toby, he just can't catch a break! I have a spare Lab looking for a handler if one is available? Well I jogged/rowed/cycled a total of 8kms at the gym last night and it was only my first session! So I may be fit enough by the time it comes around! Oh man you all make me feel like a sloth!!!! I never exercise And my poor girls are as unfit as me I really need to prioritise fitness for the 3 of us better ;) I think the main inspiration is that I am using the work gym and it's full of sworn officers and we have to write the time we enter and leave on a sheet by the door. Otherwise I would have given up after my first 10 mins! Well if my work had a gym full of hot coppers then I'd work out, too! Though I'd fear I look too hot and sweaty and gross in front of them Though it's ok for them, being hot and sweaty usually works in their favour -

Trust me, I couldn't jog to save myself, so is definitely NOT AN OPTION -
No fair! Everyone with puppies I am hoping when it is time for me to get a new pup that someone else on here is getting one too, or has some nice adult ones that don't mind a puppy hanging off them we can socialise with, as I would prefer that to a puppy preschool with strange dogs.
-
Yes, don't get me started on that. Too late, you have We were bitching while setting the courses up that we don't get time to toilet our dogs appropriately before class, while there are plenty of people romping around the oval with their dogs, playing ball, toileting, etc. Gives me the Same thing happened to the guy with the BC in our class, and it was him we were bitching with! I guess we went and jinxed ourselves!!
-
Wouldn't that be nice I think you will find there are at least a dozen more entries But I am fairly sure we are it from DOL That is what I was thinking Automatic placings, girls
-
How much is the class? Hers is one I might consider for a future puppy, but definitely won't be doing another vet run one.

Well as I was trying to get Millie to see the weaves ahead of her after a jump, all she could see was the A-Frame a few metres away off course, which she kept going to as I tried sending her to the weaves It's not that she loves the a-frame, I think it's really that she just can't see the weaves when we approach them and was convinced I was asking her to do the a-frame. Ruby is sort of the same, but getting better with this (but at least she didn't take the a-frame )

That postage price sounds very reasonable Thanks for checking the price of postage (even though it was RallyValley who asked, not me!) How much are the dokkens themselves? As I would be very interested in purchasing a couple if you have enough to sell?
