boxagirl is probably thinking bugger now I have to enter Maybe you should as well.... ;)
-
You can post off Monday as well, as long as it's postmarked on the 29th you're fine.
-
Yep! I remember it was freezing, and I had my dog car blanket on my feet, sitting on my "kids" chair And so it begins
-
P.S. I can’t believe I’m actually an “agility person”, now. A couple of years ago I never thought I would be, cos when I used to steward for it, watching people walk the courses used to scare me as I thought I’d never remember what to do! I’m still a bit naughty, though, I haven’t read all the rules so still a bit clueless on some aspects

She's been watching the BC's. I need her to watch a bit more to get that speed out she still has locked up inside. She is getting faster with her confidence, faster than I thought she'd be (speed was never a priority for me, I resigned to the fact I am running Labs!), but there is definitely a bit more speed in her I need to get out of her! So now speed is a priority for me too

I have a copy of it, in my memory! If only I could output that to youtube, I could bribe you big time!! Ooh I was present for both yours and Amy's jumping debuts, cool
-
See I didn't announce Millie's CCD debut to anyone because I didn't want spectators there in case we bombed in fashion As for agility/jumping, meh I would still like to do well (not forgetting the course for starters), but am not as fussed so if anybody wants to watch us possibly make fools of ourselves, well at least it only lasts for a few seconds, not a few minutes like in obedience! Ruby had great recall on Tuesday night training. I didn't see a broad jump in her line of sight (comes with experience I guess) and I needed her to turn left to a tunnel. As she took off full speed towards the broad jump, I yelped "Ruby, COME!" and she about turned before she hit the broad jump and I successfully got her into the tunnel and got a clear round The liklihood of a clear round at a trial is slim, considering she still knocks bars on 500 sometimes
-
I just didn't think anybody would be terribly interested to be honest But I don't mind either way.
-
Oh you're no fun! ;) Hey you could get someone filming from each side of the ring and then chop it into a film with all different angles Were you hoping I'd tell everyone to stay away? Or that I am expecting not only a Q but first place and won't accept anything less? :D
-
Did you pay with credit card? Dispute it with your bank and you'll get refunded.
-
Does anyone know who the trial secretary of Dobe Club is and if they will be at the agility trial this weekend? I haven't sent my entry off for novice jumping yet so thought if they are there it would be easier this way! I better get onto it or we won't be debuting til next year!
-
I don't mind spectators. I don't anticipate a pass, and don't care if we don't, just out there to have some fun! (and see how my nerves hold up compared to obedience ) Then it means I have an abundance of people available to film us
-
Nope, no Open for Millie til next year. I was contemplating entering Ruby in Open NFC, but have decided no more obedience trials for either of them this year. Ruby is having her first JD run the night after, though
-
What about Millie?! This will be the first obedience trial at the K9 in a long time I haven't entered, but was planning on going along anyway. So I will definitely do the Rally-O
-
emery do you think your hubby would be comfortable at a girls day out? Men tend to run a mile at the thought of one

You will love it! I have been to many musicals and have found them all entertaining - even Cats! But that was in London so was maybe a better performance I've been to a few. Been to Grease, Dirty Dancing, Jesus Christ Superstar??, Boy from Oz, hmmm what else! I know there's been others. Well, there was Cats.... but I would gladly wipe that one from memory Think Dirty Dancing was my fave!
-
I know it will probably be busier, but how about a Friday or Saturday night so we can perhaps all go out to dinner as well? Or maybe a weekend matinee show and have lunch?
-
Sorry, can't really help with the ADAA question, but just wanted to come in and ask if you're going to enter ANKC anytime? Cos the closest to JD is, well, JD!

It was a nightmare for me to I fell asleep Me too. I sat there so bored and thought I was the only one, until intermission when Mum said it was boring her to tears and I was like THANK GOD IT'S NOT JUST ME!!

What Questions Do You Have About Clicker Training?
RubyStar replied to Paul Bright's topic in General Dog Discussion
If that's the case then there is conflicting advice being given. That website above also states: Another disadvantage is that a clicker can become confusing in group training. There is no way for a dog to distinguish one clicker from another. -
I haven't, but I really despise advertising like this on their site: Save up to 60% off everything for your pet! I got my Kongs $2 cheaper at Woollies. Nothing on their site that I can see at a glance looks particularly money saving compared to other places! Have you contacted them regarding your order and have you not heard any response? I'd be ringing them (if the number hasn't been conveniently disconnected). Hope you get your order! (and hope you actually made some savings shopping with them )
