  1. He's not cream but he knows how to get down and dirty Multi tasking, blowing raspberries while charging.
  2. where have you seen your own photos. I'd have no idea if someones taken mine. I did see one on facebook that I'm not sure where they got it from, a friend told me about it. that's the only one I know of.
  3. how cute are they!!!! I certainly didn't get that reaction from mine, I even turned up your vid to see if they'd take notice, nup they're a disgrace to their race!
  4. I think mine do understand that is was an accident if I hurt them and then apologise. sometimes they give a yip and tuck their tails under but when I say sorry and check if they're OK they are all right then, they dont act afraid of me, like they might if I'd deliberately aimed a kick at them, not that I could see myself doing that.
  5. yes, but, aren't you glad you trimmed the hair on his toes, look how lovely and clean they are.
  6. Is she OK, I get the impression maybe not. edit: from facebook UPDATE! Zoe is now back home safe n sound! believe it or not, she was only 6 houses down..enjoying the day with the neighbors who found her. Thank you to those lovely people who took her in and helped her find her way back!! thank you also to everyone for alerting friends and family to help find her. and to everyone who walked around trying to find her. your efforts are amazing and we all thank you tremendously!! xox so I can put a smiley up now :D
  7. very cute. With the last litter of pups I bred I noticed they all loved jumping on a old tarp I had that I was dragging someplace cause it was too heavy for me to lift. As soon as they saw it moving they all piled on.
  8. My dogs are a disgrace the the canine race! They slept through the first few howls then just opened their eyes and moved their heads ever so slightly to rest them on their legs, instead of being curled in a ball like kittens. Takes alot more than a few coyotes howling to impress them.
  9. Penny stole an uncooked leg of lamb off the counter while I was outside picking rosemary for it. I was gone for just a few seconds and when I came it it was gone. I went roaring out the other door, snatched it off her, washed it and cooked it. If it was Kibah or the boys I dont think I could have caught them, I'm pretty sure they'd run with it. I'd have to wait until they'd eaten their fill.
  10. You could try setting mouse traps up there. It might frighten her off when they "!!snap!!"
  11. certainly new to me I did not suggest they are dogs, but they're in the same family as wolves, coyotes and jackals. the point I was trying to make is that I believe that dogs and foxes although primarily carnivorous, are opportunistic feeders, if they come across ripe blackberries they might eat them, if they come across windfall fruit, they might eat it and in the case of my own dogs they eat lots of leafy green plants they find on their daily walks. What was I supposed to make of your post? You said plainly foxes eat fruit. Yet they are of a different species altogether. How was I to know what you were making of it? I think we can all agree that dogs are opportunistic feeders; what was the need for foxes to come into the picture? Since they are opportunistic feeders, there is no need to supplement with fruits and vegetables. Besides they do not have the ability to digest most of it anyway. As I said, some dogs will eat anything. Doesn't mean we have to include rotting carcasses and soiled baby diapers in their diet. settle petal.
  12. oh dear, so it's takeaway for you tonight is it?

  14. they have LOADS of personality...soooooo funny I would happily keep all of them I wish i could have got my photo's of them as sharp as you take mucked up my settings changing them all a round  I never feel like mine are sharp enough. I rather like that these are slightly soft, it seems appropriate for squishy puppies.
  15. they have such expressive and comical faces
  16. Depends on what you mean by busy, it's a big area but there's always someone there walking dogs. There can be up to 30 people there and many more dogs at times. I dont go very early mornings generally (I mean before 8am) so I'm not familiar with the crowd. I know most who go from 9am onwards.
  17. Yes, that's right, the whole park is currently an off lead area, except for just near the barbeques.
  18. I often wonder about the prey diet some people put their dogs on, is it meat only because this thread proves dogs eat alot more than just meat.
  19. I'm not sure if anyone on DOL walks their dogs here but the council is proposing to restrict dogs to just one small fenced area, currently the whole area of (I'm guessing) around 60acres if off lead. The dogs can run full pelt, swim in the dam, it's doggy paradise. It might all become a thing of the past if council get their way. If you use the park and want to object send an email to [email protected] with reference to the Don rd Reserve Master Plan, and get it in by 5pm Monday 30th January.
  20. I got permission to take photos prior to going, but I didn't say I might sell them, because it wasn't my intention. I only have it in mind because in the past I've been approached for photos and so far have just given them away. If I went along with the intention of taking photos to sell I would be upfront about it. As it was no one approached me the other day about purchasing photos so I didn't have to worry anyway.
  21. not funny so much as cute, I think First Puck and then his mum Penny comes along too.
