I went with the local camera club, perhaps it's worth thinking about a DOLer photography day there. Yeah those hot houses are pretty steamy and it wasn't even a hot day when I went there, I'd hate to imagine what it was like on a 35C day. Ugh!

Sydney Abbatoir Closed For Cruelty
Kirislin replied to samoyedman's topic in Dog Cruelty and Abuse News
that's good that they've closed it. I wont be reading the article. Is there a particular reason you've put this thread here instead of the "in the news" cruelty section? -
I went to Altona beach today, I've never been to that part of the world before, fantastic beach!! Loved it! :D

sooooooooo............... we're supposed to take her seriously if we were to meet her? Oh, OK, thanks for the warning.

If they are flapping about loose and dangly I would agree with taking them off, if they are firm, sitting in close to the leg, I might be more inclined to leave them, but if the vet is suggesting taking them off, unless you feel he is someone who over services, I'd be taking his advice.

Not sure if it will work but you never know. :)

OK, turn your camera on and look at the back screen. 3rd row of symbols down, 2nd from right, that tells you what your metering mode is. Press your Q key which is top left on your controls, then using the arrow button toggle around until you get onto the metering mode. If it's on spot metering try some other options buy turning the big controller wheel.
-
That might be a metering problem, have you got it on spot metering by any chance? will check i just twirl the setting round not knowing what i'm doing  thanks I will see if I can find out if have wish me luck  ahem! time for you to have a look at the manual I think. What model camera do you have?
-
You'd need an earthmover to do poo patrol after that lot.

My mother had a cat named Stanley, but Stanley was a girl. -

Kirislin replied to W Sibs's topic in General Dog Discussion
I'd prefer human names for dogs than dog or cat names for humans.
