  1. Yes, I think you can see them. Funnily enough when I click on that photo to enlarge it, the grid lines are much smaller than when I just look at the small photo. I did sharpen it, but not much, I always sharpen them, here is one with no sharpening at all.
  2. No, not like that  They show up on the photos posted in this thread, but it seems I'm the only one who has them. I just hope nothing is wrong with my camera.
  3. I think you're lucky the old bat got moved on that long flight.
  4. You could always take donkeys as your pack animal and walk it. Of course you need to know how to care for them, but you dont need riding skills. Donkeys are lovely little animals, and very strong for their size.
  5. I asked on POTN and was told they might be a jpeg artifact, I then looked that up to see what it meant and I think that's what it is. I dont know why it only shows up on my screen. but thanks for looking.
  6. on my monitor they're about 1/2cm square. Look on the roadway, they're especially visible there.
  7. can anyone else see the grid lines on those photos I posted? I dont know what they are.
  8. Was it a bit scary taking it in, just in case they were kidding when they said it's waterproof? Did it just feel wrong walking into water with a camera? What make and model do you have, I'd like to get one I think.
  9. Oh sorry, I misunderstood. Couldn't they order it in for you?
  10. Look here http://www.crumpler.com/AU/Camera-Bags/Camera-Bags/7-Million-Dollar-Home.html?LanguageCode=EN&SKU=MDH001-G03P70
  11. I'm pretty sure I've heard of a six million $, wouldn't that be bigger?
  12. well you kinda read my mind, I'm also thinking about either that one or the 24-70 because it can be fixed at 2.8 which I really like.
  13. I used to ride up there with my whippets because it was State Forest, and then suddenly one day I went and there were the signs with the doggies with red lines through them, like ghostbusters no announcement, nothing, just no more dogs allowed. It's harder and harder to find safe places to ride horses these days, you find a lovely trail and you have to contend with dirt bike riders thrashing around blind corners at breakneck speeds.
  14. When I saw this the word/sound that came to mind was Blub blub blub blub blub blub blub
  15. and probably for blokes who want their dogs to keep their balls.
  16. actually, I was very surprised to see they took their dog. The BNT strongly advises against it, as you go through National Parks, and many private properties where farmers have stock, as well as lots of places that would be baited. I definitely would also advise against taking a dog, but anyway, they did it. the dog was lovely although quite nippy to the horses. He's been trained not to eat anything until his owner says he can.
  17. This little dog has just completed a walk from Townsville N Qld to Healesville Victoria early this afternoon. I know cause I was there to greet him. His owners completed the full distance of the Bicentennial National Trail, a distance of about 5330ks and the dog joined them at Townsville 3 years ago. They've walked and worked their way down to Vic. Here he is rounding the last turn unaware that there was a huge welcoming party. Hullo, he thinks what's all this? woo hoo, it's peoples, they're here for meeeee! He breaks into a gallop! Leaves his owners to catch up Journeys end
  18. I love the 4 wet doggies all together and the windy one. And I especially loved the pancakes!!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  19. does he know he needs to worm the pup and mum very soon too? and he needs to feed the mum plenty of good quality food, not just PAL
  20. you can also just scrunch them up, really small. or even put one inside the other, you have to be careful with this method, I think this one's started oozing out.
