  1. How did I not see this sooner! I laughed at Lolas cute goofy ears in the first few pics. My whippets do them sometimes, I wouldn't have thought I'd recognise the same expression on a Pug. She looks like she'll be a great buddy to little Sid.
  2. CM what are those 2 buggy eyes? It's not a crocodile is it. I didn't see anything like that. Here's a couple more from me. I kinda salvaged one of my ellie pics.
  3. this thread's been going for more than 2 years and doesn't look like dying anytime soon. I always love looking in here, such a great collection of creative photos.
  4. Yippeeeee! we all share your excitement. Now, how far do you live from Healesville cause next Saturday we're having another whippet fun day. Clicking Mad came to the last one, and Evolving came to the one before, both got some amazing photos, so you are most welcome to come along and practice with your new camera.
  5. Oh Sam, they are wonderful, I'm so glad, and impressed you managed to get the cheeky boy spitting water, you can see my pathetic attempt. I love the way you've edited them all too.
  6. Oh that is sad about G-Ann. she didn't look too happy when I saw her, maybe she's lost her spark now, or perhaps she's just slowed with age. Here's a few more pics, I am looking forward to seeing the others pics. syncronished swishing
  7. I have photoshop and I dont know how to use it. I know people say there's lots of tutorials on the net, but I dont understand them! Here's an example. I copied someones description of how to create a vignette, he insists it's an easy way. Good, that sounds like what I need. Here we go. Create new layer Ctrl + Alt + shift+ N Fill layer with pure white Shift + backspace Yep, so far so good. Set blend mode to multipy Alt + shift + M yep, still here. Apply vignette filter to the new layer Filter>>Distort>> lens correction. He's lost me. I got filter and distort but couldn't find lens correction the next instruction was Mess with the amount and midpoint slider in vignette section. I couldn't find any of that either. then press OK and you're done. I couldn't find an OK key either. so once again, I go to the bottom of the class and put my dunces hat on.
  8. awwwwww I think you could include balance in here too
  9. I think someone else commented recently that her dog started sighing or doing noisy yawns so often it was irritating her as it hadn't dont it before. I dont think it was in here though, might have been in general or off topic. edit: found it. I dont think it will help you though. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...19&hl=noisy
  10. Hasn't she got the sweetest expression. I am looking forward to seeing Iltby and Clicking Mads' pics. I imagine they have alot of processing to do. I doubt I took as many pics as they did and I haven't finished mine.
  11. I love the silly lolling tongue pic, and Shell your Zero does the best happy faces too. You'd be most welcome to meet my kids. I dont think showing is the best fun for whippets I bet most would rather be running.
  12. I think this is a girl and I'm not sure but she looks like she might be missing her left hand. Does anyone know?
  13. thanks Tess, Suma is a sweet heart. I'd like to sit down and have a cuppa with her. I know the ones of the little guy with the mouth full of water weren't in focus but it was the only time I got him doing that so I posted them anyway. He also did a wee at his dad trying to antagonise him I suppose. He was so cheeky and cute.
  14. a volunteer told me they like to look in our bags so I held my bag open and she did indeed take interest and look inside, I feel sure she is smiling at me here.
  15. this is a young boy and he looks full of mischief here. He's actually got a mouth full of water. and he squirted it at his long suffering dad! Here he is in a more thoughtful pose.
  16. I had a lovely day and took lots of pics. Here's one, the orangutans are amazing, they are interested in us and interact alot.
  17. It looks like this. Tag, Lily, Feather and Kibah in the background
  18. I think the forecast is good. I have to leave soon to be out front by 9am. It's still dark and the whips are still asleep, they wont be happy to find me going, damn I wish I could bring them all. I just know they'd LOVE the zoo I can imagine the other animals would be very interested in them too, especially the lions. I'm thinking the whips would really like the meerkats.....to eat.
  19. are you just taking the one lens. I was thinking of leaving my camera bag at home and just taking camera and lens slung over my shoulder. I better check what the weather will be though.
  20. I'm hoping Iltby and Clicking Mad will be there, anyone else?
  21. looks more like a ballet dancer to me with the turn of foot.
  22. Just took a pic of Pennys teeth. She will be 12 in May and has never had her teeth cleaned. They are quite worn as you can see but pretty clean. She regularly gets lamb or chicken bones. I prefer not to give her beef or pork although very occasionally she does get them. I have to avoid the long cut in half beef marrow bones cause she just scrapes and scrapes them and wears her front teeth down. My dogs aren't on a raw diet but they do have alot of variety. I cook for them making a loaf with chicken and veggies. They also get lots of fruit and veggies raw if they want them. I give them a small amount of commercial dry dog food in the mornings.
