thanks everyone. I really enjoyed seeing them run, especially as I dont even think I've ever seen one off the lead before. I just about saw my life flash before my eyes one time though, those two big deeries were running back down to their owner when they decided to take a turn and head directly for me. Luckily they veered off at the last minute.

this might be my favourite pic of the day, he looks like he's absolutely flying. I had a go at panning shots, without much in the way of success gotta try though.

I had the chance to photograph some deerhounds and borzois today. some were real clowns Beautiful, graceful, and GOOFY looking, if that is possible.

I went camping for the first time in years and had a great time. I took only one whippet, Kibah, after her initial bewilderment cause she's getting old, she settled in really well and loved it. We might have to do it again I think. Here's a few pics. Chicken heading home after an afternoon at the local pub.

I think zoos often do this with carnivores. I assume it's supposed to mimic their hunting in the wild, they probably dont make a kill every day.

can you post some pics you've taken, I dont think I've ever seen anything from it.

I dont feel I get the same results as some, my editing skills aren't too flash but I use DPP and Zoom Browser which are free Canon programs and come on a CD with your camera. They are good programs, it's just my skill that is lacking. Have you tried them?

I dont think you are obliged to pay them anything. The puppy is now too old to appeal to puppy buyers. I understand you've said you will keep her now anyway but that's not the point. For all they knew, you might have had a page full of potential homes for that puppy at 10 weeks old that aren't there anymore.
