All of these are lovely photos. I can't help you with the editing but thankfully, Iltby has. They really capture childhood, I love the ones of your little girl with the flowers. You must treasure these photos.

thanks, maybe I will. and yep. Coldstream, they were very welcoming too.

It's sad but I wonder if there's some truth in the old beliefs in as much as I dont imagine their dogs are treated for worms or any parasites for that matter. Would hydatid tapeworm be more prevalent over there? I dont know, but I suspect the beliefs have stemmed from having close contact with parasite infected dogs. Do dogs over there get rabies? It would be nice if they could be convinced that modern medicine and correct hygiene can offer solutions.

It's been a few weeks now, how is the new feeding regime going and has the patient lost weight. Please let us know. -
BOSLEY THE WICKED!! I was outside with my camera and Bosley trotted into the front yard, out of sight. I expected her to come pelting back as the others usually do so I sat waiting hoping to catch her in flight. This is not what I was expecting to see! She's raided one of my water gardens and stolen my beautiful (well it was once) long leaved tassel rush plant. She trashed it so now it's in my bathroom for it's own protection.

you've done an amazing job with them, they are really fat roly poly puppies.
-
I am sure if you told that photographer that you dont want to be altered he could still take photos of you.

Bite your tongue!!

Bosley had a good day today. I took her into town and met up with a friend and we had a coffee at a cafe. All good experience for her. She's going for her GAP assessment on Wednesday, apparently they introduce her to a small white fluffy dog, wish her luck. I think she will be good but you never know.
-
Wow, you've probably taken about 20kgs of her. I wish it was so easy in real life.
-
Nice strong head shot and the family portrait is cute, the little pup is smiling!
-
they're lovely, AnnieK I like the first one, the way the sun is glinting off the grass. The second one looks like it needs a caption.

Oh I really feel for you. It's so upsetting when they fight, it leaves you and them stressed for ages. That's not an even match either. I hope your little man will be OK and you can manage this problem so it doesn't happen in the future. It can be hard to do.

I can imagine the bride and groom looking back on them later, and it wouldn't even need to be years later, just months and him thinking geeze, you've really let yourself go since then.
-
my oh my, he sure does and the waists are thinner too. Sorry but I think they are bullsh$t. I would be hoping that those brides asked for the "instant fat reduction" or I'd be peeved. On the chick in the desert setting, she looked fine before, his editing makes her look grossly thin. Also the chick in the long slim white gown. She had a nice figure before with nice hips and curves and then he made her practically anorexic! I agree she shot and composition are nice but the editing in some of them is plain ridiculous. The same thought crossed my mind at first but then I thought, brides look into their photographers pretty carefully. He's quite open about the changes he makes so I am assuming they're fully aware he can do that. If not, they probably wouldn't go to him. I would also imagine it's easy enough for him to change them back if they didn't like the treatment.

Mine used to do this a bit but I pretend I am oblivious to them, and if their feet are close I stand on them, not too hard but enough to make them yank them out of the way. When it happens I dont respond, I just go on as normal, so now they know to watch out for big clumsy mummy. I think I pretty much learned this tactic from having horses. It's up to us to make sure we dont get trodden on. I did have an accident with poor Bosley, the visiting foster greyhoung this morning that I felt sorry for though. She is quite timid and gets frightened easily. I was coming in the door and she did a big stretch in front of me. I almost stood on her foot but tried to back off quickly. That frightened her and she spun away from me and then hit her head on the arm of the couch. I think she thought I did it to her and she cried and ran away. :D I felt awful.

she looks startled, did she roll or did she fall? Very cute little girl isn't she. -
That is very sad but I hope they let him go soon and dont prolong the inevitable

One girl was as furry as a squirrel before he worked his magic

Thanks both, I think you're right.

I wanted to do a photography course but there's none near by and I dont fancy driving distances at night in Winter so I joined the local photographic society. They have a competition each month and next month is streetscape. Would this be classed as streetscape? If so was thinking of entering it although I might need to ramp up the colours/saturation a bit, knowing me it was straight out of the camera.

I looked on his site and saw a pic I remember from the Digital Life expo, the one of the little girls peeping through the church door.

I took this a while ago. I wanted it to look interesting with the textures but also a bit ominous, you never know what spiders might be hiding under that bark.
