I had a look at the others. Some are really incredible, they look real, I though Mark Webber was from a real photo of him that you'd just stuck in there as a trick. Some I thought missed the mark though, Kylie, Nicole and John Farnham in particular. I've never been to a Madam Tussards, I'd kinda like to go now.

Any idea when competition will start through the VCA? How will it work, will a Lure Coursing Club have to be formed? Will they have experienced drivers, judges, course setters, stewards etc, and where will they come from? Aaaaah so many questions!!

I wish Arkey ear hadn't got in the way here, it would have been a great shot otherwise. 5F6A7815_1 by kirislin, on Flickr

Yes, SA's loss is our gain. A most impressive woman. I'm glad I'm getting to know her.

geeze dear old girl. So sad that her companion is gone too. I wish I was in a position to take her but with 3 ageing whippets here already I dont think I could cope with the inevitable vet bills. I hope she gets a loving new home. She looks like a very fine whippet judging by those slender legs.

Woody won a few hearts there too. 5F6A7676_1 by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7679_1 by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7686_1 by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7689_1 by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7710_1 by kirislin, on Flickr

so yesterday I took Neko lure coursing for the first time. She's experienced with straight line drag lure chasing/racing, but never the bendies. She took to it immediately, and so did Arkey although I didn't get any shots of him. Bindi set us a safe course, just a big soft right hand circle but good to start on. coming towards the first bend. 5F6A7664_1 by kirislin, on Flickr the first pulley and she took it in her stride. Cornering like a little motorbike! 5F6A7665_1 by kirislin, on Flickr How's that for enthusiasm!! :D 5F6A7667_1 by kirislin, on Flickr and here's Belindas Pixie. Neko went Lure Coursing for the first time yesterday. She's previously done straight line drag lure chasing/racing but never with the twisties. She took to it immediately. I was a very proud mummy. 5F6A7664_1 by kirislin, on Flickr The bend she wasn't expecting but reacted as quick as a snake strike. 5F6A7665_1 by kirislin, on Flickr Get it Neko!!!!! 5F6A7667_1 by kirislin, on Flickr

Wow! she's really beautiful isn't she. I've always thought dogs look great in front of a graffiti wall too and have wanted to photograph mine with one, there aren't enough around here though. Great photos, good job.
-
such beautiful photos, makes me want to go there. Your dogs have a great life with you, they're clearly so loved.
-
Yep I believe so T. They were bigger than the other ants, which are quite large anyway. They live by my garage, probably have a massive colony of tunnels under it but mostly dont bother me. If they start attacking the chooks or dogs though, there'll be war.
-
They were swarming today. I've never seen these ones do it, although I suppose all ants do. They were swarming everywhere so I took some photos but when I went back 30 minutes later it was as if it had never happened, all was still, not an ant to be seen. 5F6A7485_1 by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7481_1 by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7472_1 by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7470_t by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7473_1 by kirislin, on Flickr

If they dont want it but aren't trying to make money I wish they'd give it to charity or put in on freecycle instead of throwing it away.

I grabbed a little hanging bird bath and found the perfect branch to hang it off on my shady tree, the one I've put my "new" old chair under. Now on the hottest days the tiny birdies will have a safe place to get a drink and a bath. thanks for the kind words about the photos Poss. I just snapped them from my car as I drove around. I havne't been to the camera club for several years. only went to about 4 meetings. I keep meaning to go back. The truck came this morning to pick up on my road, I could hear the crushing and shattering of glass and wood as it went around. gathering and destroying.

a lady told me today she saw a sideboard over in Yarra Glen with stained glass windows in it. I hope someone rescued it. Yes Hazy, I've got quite a few things in my house from scrounging the hard rubbish piles. I love doing it but I'm horrified at the terrible waste.
-
in the Yarra Valley and unfortunately the big truck comes around loads it up and crushes it. It's such a waste. I scrounged this chair yesterday. I painted it with decking oil today and I love it! DPP_0002_t by kirislin, on Flickr I saw an antique oak round table with the leaf insert so it can seat more people around it. So sad to see it out there knowing it will be crushed. I didn't have the strength or the room in my car to take it. I'm really hoping someone did.
-
 the other alternative. good idea!
-
I cant put a piece of furniture on it cause it's smack bang in the middle of the floor, right where everyone walks. I'll eventually paint over it if I cant get rid of it.
-
There were so many kids bikes, and barbeques, I cant believe those things wear out so fast, that in itself is criminal. They should be made to last, and to be able to be repaired. I saw an old 1930 dresser that would be worth a bit to the right person. I hope someone rescues it. There was a container filled with little farm animals. They were all clean and perfect, just not wanted anymore. When I was a kid they were the only things I wanted to play with. I still have mine. Ugh! and the TVs computers and beds! So many, I have to admit, even I put 2 TVs out this time. They no longer work and aren't worth repairing as they're analog. I still hate chucking them out though.
-
there was so much more, street after street. I also missed out on a lovely bench chair with wrought iron ends. I saw it as I was taking the dogs for a walk and intended to get it when I dropped the dogs off home, but by the time I got back it was gone. I'm glad really, I love seeing people scrounging through and taking things to give them another life, and if they make money by selling them, well good on 'em!
-
I forgot to mention, I even found a jar with money in it!! chucked out!! People are nuts!
-
and here's stuff I didn't want but was amazed at what gets chucked away. Sure, no one will want a comode, but there were 4 perfectly good wheelie walkers and lot's of other still usable stuff 5F6A7434dppt by kirislin, on Flickr all good, just unwanted 5F6A7431dppt by kirislin, on Flickr nice old wooden ladder back there. 5F6A7428dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7427dppt by kirislin, on Flickr the name on the kennel was Jemma 5F6A7425dppt by kirislin, on Flickr Piles and piles of the stuff 5F6A7424dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A7422dppt by kirislin, on Flickr
