  1. :p Our boy Choco (17 weeks old) vomited this morning about 5am and in it was bone fragments from his roo bone..He finished eating it about 8pm last night..This is the second time he has done this,first time with a turkey wing ....He has been having bones for 2 months now... can anyone shed any light on this please..... Thanks in Advance.....
  2. ;) choco has phenagren hayfever tablets. he is allowed between 10-25mg ......he was also 3 months when his itch started....it wont harm the pups and cheaper than the vets .......hope it works.....
  3. ;) hey MRS TS...Choco usually takes about 5-10 mins...he is cutting teeth left right and centre at present...But i also cut mine in half and freeze them......
  4. oh yeah, itchy here too......we also have phenagren for Choco...the vet also gave us a spray to use..i also found that rubbing my anti-itchy cream on his tummy helped....Alph Keri moisturising lotion -contains lanolin oil (sheep) and parrafin oil.....good luck....
  5. EXCELLENT ;) ......i would just keep doing what you are....Its the cycle you have to break and kill...........i call worms spaghetti... ....If you are worried call the vet and maybe you could re-worm in 2 weeks.....no harm in asking..
  6. no need to worry just keep up with 4weekly worming and follow the advice above...its normal...... :D ..have you wormed him since he was a pup ?? and did he have worms then ??.....If not catching worms is so easy so dont be alarmed.....(just asking only)
  7. :D im feeling your pain...But as its been said before you must ignore the behaviour you DONT want praise/reward the behavior you DO want...its hard Matt but you both must do this to work...if he bites your feet get up and walk away,turn your back to him...this is all the advice i have got from here and it takes time BUT does work....just do searches on here.....Good luck, i do love pugs also..... Hey choco's ma ... this made me wonder, has choco's nipping improved? You haven't mentioned anything on labs forum for a while, just wondering.... :D Hey MrsTS--a tiny little bit,not much like .5mm of change.... :D

  10. try fish oil capsules the ones you buy from the chemist or give a tin of sardines twice a week BUT get the ones in oil or water..Woolworths have them in HomeBrand for $1.60 for 3 tins......Goodluck
  11. if your lab is gonna be 8wks when you get him,he will still need his C5 at either 10 weeks (new inj) or his 12wks and booster at 16wks then indoors for 2 weeks before socialization and make sure you get the papers for his micro-chipping to do the change of owner asap.................

  13. :rolleyes: my little dog had the same problem..the vet said to use glycerine and massage it back in slowly..Well he couldnt stop humping his stuffed wombat and had it so far stuck out he had to have emergency surgery .....
  14. hi all, he has been to the vets and she is a little worried cause of his age....We have him on anti-histamines,a special steroid spray that wont affect him growing, im weed removing today,i did change my clothes and floor cleaner so back to the old stuff.We aint gonna mess with his diet as yet cause of his age..The vets wants to take small steps...we bath him with Aloveen shamp/cond,washed his stuff with our clothes wash but since have hot washed it only.....

Hey matt i have a 14 week old lab and he is crazy too.He does bite/mouth i think its a puppy thing as they 'touch' with their mouth...get him toys also do a search on here for biting etc...we all feel your pain and im stilling feeling it.....sorry i aint helped but my bro has pugs and they are little energizer bunnies but very cute......he will settle its a pup thing.....

My 3.5 month lab is scratching on his tummy and front legs.No rash or redness visiable..Have used flea/mites monthly treatment ,doing an elimanation diet,fish oil in meals ..feeding Royal Canin for labs (junior) SO my question is what can i use to put on his itchy spots to relieve the itch............Thanks (sorry if repeating a forum topic also in general topics)

  18. Mrs TS-- some of the other labs got the same symptoms after KC nasal..Our vet said its very common to have side affect from it.....BUT if you need peace of mind a quick call to the vets is in order.

  21. our pup to itches...He is on Royal Canin for lab's(junior) plus every few days i give him a roo bone for lunch....Can roo meat cause the itch?????

  23. GREAT THREAD I TRULY BELIEVE ITS THE OWNERS NOT THE BREED........ i have been brought up with GSD,Bullies,Rotties and love them all...they never once hurt anyone maybe we should have law for owners too be ANTI-BSL
  24. Thanks for the files..i needed them...im making a CD with traffic, thunder,fireworks,airplanes,helicopters,police sirens etc for choco would you like one ?????? Yes im so going to the meet...cant wait..........
