  1. you could try avina caravan park but it's most likely booked out
  2. Good news then, now try and relax. I reckon Friday the 13th will be a lucky day!
  3. Gawd all mighty where is this stuff being posted? What a load of you know what. I, personally, know of several seniors adopted through GAP. I think the rescue world is far worse then the show world.
  4. The greyhounds will be out in force at the sighthound show, I've even got a breeder's team entered!
  5. They will both be fine and we will laugh at ourselves - later :)
  6. Fern has a growth on her foot, she is 5 and 1/2, it looks like a benign histiocytoma. Vet is a little bit concerned Fern is older then average to get one. So the lump comes off on Wednesday and will be sent away for pathology. Percentage wise the odds are on Fern's side but that little bit of doubt is there and I am going to be like a cat on a hot tin roof until it comes back benign and it's Easter so may take longer to get the results
  7. I need the same info, so please someone help us out.
  8. same here, was going to Melb. for my daughters birthday but now I am working, will need the money after a couple of trips to Sydney!
  9. hope you are ok now My tongue is no longer sore and is slightly swollen, but it still feels funny. The area that saw bitten feels sore when I move my tongue around my mouth. someone else got bitten too and the vinegar worked for them as well, they were bitten on the hand. Bloody wasps, they come from the paddocks around the grounds
  10. when you padlock your gates put one down low so they actually have to jump in to get to it, makes it just a little bit harder for them.
  11. Yes. Yes from me too. I have seen some amazing things happen because of DOL. To me the good far out weighs any bad.
  12. yes thank you to all the helpers You made things so much easier for me, I really apprieated every single bit. Lots of people have no idea how big a workload it is running a show. I still have stuff to do to wrap it all up. I nearly missed my call for Group cause I was trying to help someone out. I am off to the vets shortly with Miss Ferny to get this growth/lump/wound on her foot checked out. I think it is a benign histiocytoma but need to make sure of it.
  13. Thanks everyone for putting the results up, the show secretary is the last person to see anything or retain it
  14. Grounds look great and feel good underfoot. If the weather follows the forecast it's going to be perfect!
  15. I keep odd hours as I work night shift with a changing roster. Hard to put that in the gazette but I do use my mobile number and try to change the message on it to fit the circumstances ie postal entries have closed, ozentries close on such and such, best way to contact me is by text or email. Then I switch the phone to silent. One of my pet peeves are people who reel off their phone numbers and you have to listen, and pay, to the message 3 times before you can get it all. So a directive to repeat your phone number twice, slowly, went on and lo and behold people actually did so!
  16. totally rude, don't care what their excuse is, it just a dog show.
  17. I've used it in the past and from what I recall the dose rate to treat for heartworm is different to the dose rate for intestinal worms. And another dose rate for mange.
  18. Either way your other dog is copping it, tighten up on him now.
  19. I am pleased the info was useful. I have kept it so it can be updated and included on the website for next year.
  20. put a padlock on your gate and put the pup outside. Dogs need to be dogs to grow properly, both physically and mentally. It will not hurt your puppy to be outside while you are at work.
  21. yes he did, he also dislocated a toe twice getting off the couch not the sprung toe but a different one.

  23. but do your dogs do well on it? No need to change it just because some people on a forum say it's not top notch quality. The best food for your dog is the one it does best on, whatever that may be.
