IMO if the pup has a sound, solid temperament to start with getting it after 8 weeks does not make a lot of difference.

Porridge is good to put weight on. That and Bonnie working dog formula is the only thing that put on and kept weight on Fern.

and it's not only dog sport people affected, it's any one who wants or needs to travel with their pet/s

maybe you could claim your non shedding iggy is an assitance dog while you are at it, then you won't have to break the rules
