  1. if you wish to google some sites about acv with dogs that might be the best. Not a miracle cure, your right, but it cant harm the dog, and it is worth a try.Havent had any adverse reactions by any of my dogs, and my foster dogs dont worry about it either.Im on 5 acres and never had a burnt patch of grass ever, but then i dont have a market garden and im more worried about brown snakes....
  2. put apple cider vinegar in her drinking water, or food
  3. my dogs run in the bush everyday with me of a morning. At this time of the year i use advantix every 2 weeks, i have kelpies and have a foster border collie x at the moment here. i check them religiously everyday...We are in a p tick area, and my OH has come home with one on his singlet, but so far i have never found one on the dogs. Checking them is the best double check you can do. and that means in between their paws and everything
  4. I have to say anyone that i talk dogs to, does not realise in all honesty where dogs from pet shops come from. The more you talk to them a they talk about their pet shop dogs costing them a fortune due to problems with limbs, or training problems, they understand and are disgusted. I now talk openly to anyone who will listen, and they do listen, cause once you tell them you foster for a rescue group, they know you are not talking crap...I think everyone i work with now knows what i think of the pet shop industry, and by the time i feed them that many youtube visions of puppy farms they now have a better understanding. Its all about getting it out there to the public....Pet shops have Good marketing, we can do the same
  5. just dont spit on the road or you'll be in trouble, better go to Bosnia (or wherever that sicko lives) on the same trip after seeing that girl throw puppies out of a bucket into a river...Now that has haunted me...gorgeous lil chubby bubbas being hurled into the river
  6. Im sure thats why so many "working kelpies" end up in rescue. they dont have the desire to work so they are disgarded....My last rescue kelpie that i fostered was quite content to lay on the lounge with my 2.
  7. No No I think you are neglecting the children ;) - I mean colour co-ordination is essential- the sheet should be tan or yellow - plus a teddy bear and someone - like a personal servant standing by to ensure their every need like food, water and a bunny rug when its cold - now snap to it Sandra and get cracking!!!! LOL....Its a bit that way Pauline. I miss Jarrah so much. She has gone to her new home. She was the perfect dog to have as a foster dog, but then she is a kelpie...Megs was a bit out of sorts her being female and all, but she coped:-)...And im sure your furkids are neglected as much as mine:-) Hope you are well.xoxoxo

  11. Maybe the GCCC should just stick to hosting running events !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. what the hell!!!!!!!!!!!! what can us mere mortals do to stop this crap.....When are the rule makers going to sit up and realise penalties have to be toughened....This is getting worse and it is sickening to think these people have tendancies to hurt and torture so they do it to animals so they cant get into trouble....they get their thrills at the expense of the poor animals....with NO CONSIQUENCES
