  1. I don't think I will be coming to tracking, it sounds great but I will only really be able to go the one week. I will just focus on Toby's agility and getting Lincoln started in obidience and retrieving skills.], so I have some stuff to occupy my time. Glad you worked out how to put the sig up ozjen! I can see it fine
  2. Where is the trial on the 25th being held?
  3. Are these turns for agility or just obidience?
  4. I think retrieving titles are my most coveted, because they are so hard to get! There is a Chessie here that is dual Ch. Sh and Retrieveing! For Toby any title will be fine but I think even JD is quite a while off! and AD might be late next year What do rally titles look like?
  5. Yes particulalry Chesapeakes. (I don't think there are many entered though)
  6. Aslo Obidience/Rally/Flyball/Endurance Test and any other sports/activities that show the dog is well behaved, well mannered and athlectic.
  7. If you were you would so win the trophy for obidience dog of the year, if I remember right last year no dog had results submitted. (ST is that right?) Oooh now that sounds intriguing! But it also doesn't sound like something to be proud of winning when you're the only one submitting results ;) Yes but it could be between Ruby and Millie . Next year Lincoln might have results to submit (If I ever get my act togther and start teaching him anything)
  8. I those who do both. I think I'd have a nervous breakdown . We will see how Toby goes and how I go. I will only be moving out if the parents won't let me have another Chessie in a couple of years. ;) But at the moment agility is enough, maybe obidience can be a retirement thing. But then if I get that other dog eventually I doubt I will have time.
  9. The problem with obidience is I have no idea what I am doing, nor do I understand it. Maybe some of these WA experts can give me a some training advice, especially one who recently did some winning at Bunbury and also trials a retriever.
  10. My 13 year old wears a collar all the time, not that she is active enough to run away or get the collar caught. My boys don't usually but this is only because I show Lincoln and don't want collar fur.
  11. I think they are training us beginners for only about 4 weeks and then we get put into groups so you will miss out on all the training as such. Oh well Next season Lincoln won't be showing so much so I will be able to get properly into tracking.
  12. I am debating going to tracking because I won't be able to go again until May 15th so I am not sure if it's worthwhile.
  13. The Patty Ruzzo dvd covers heeling. I highly recommend it . Ok, I will add it to my LONG wishlist! Any idea of clubs for Lincoln?
  14. Sure Ozjen. Click on Lincolns profile in the link under my sig to get my email and email the pics you want through!
  15. We might be moving and will be building so I am keeping an eye glued. Would be awsome to have some pics of dog runs.
  16. I am from a breed which has around 15 entrie males in the country and my 4 month old is one of two dogs from a certain line. However I don't see this as a reason to breed and I would definately be getting health tests (including hips and elbows done at 2 and DNA tests), a show title and proving his working ability. When he is judged worthy he will be available. I think showing, reading and resarching the breed will let you be able to judge just where your boys strengths/weaknesses lie and you must remember anything your boy sires will refelct back to you. (I am not very good at wording things and this is not meant as a critisism, just an observation I have made)
  17. Ari will be great she has the right attitude! I am sure it was you I was talking to about getting dogs used to gun fire... Maybe not We could bring a bumper or something and borrow Mirawees lake and have the noise, and the water retrieves. What a shame you never got into gun dogs Mirawee!
  18. I think gettng an obidience trophy for a $10 membership is a pretty good deal! Mirawee that is something that posibly ST and definetly me will be up for.
  19. If you were you would so win the trophy for obidience dog of the year, if I remember right last year no dog had results submitted. (ST is that right?)
  20. Yes RS it would be awsome if you got your CD at the GCD trial! (I knocked on wood so its not jinxed!)
  21. First you have to decide if you want an ES or an Aussie :p The Aussie at Mason's birthday party the other day was divine ;) Aussie?? Which Aussie?? Jenna! I just love Jenna, I don't know how you would are going to be able to resist Jenna's pups RS! I'm not, so I am going to have to wear my training pants with large pockets so I can steal one (or two) I imagine Jenna will be trained to find her puppies like she is the car keys
  22. Ah ok. This Sunday I am working 9am -3pm so I cant. Can you possibly move the gun dog trial?
