Find the baby owl Day 5 Really looking forward to this year, and hopefully I can make it further then next year :D
  4. I'm trying this again this year!! I haven't even seen Lottie this year But i'm on my home now so will catch up on everyones photos so far then :D . This is my big goal, I really want to get this done!!
  5. Oh yes, sorry!! I was LuvLottie last year, now back to Beth :D
  6. Oh - i'm going to try again this year!! I'm overseas at the moment, so only have a min of internet left... but will be back soon!! So count me in :D
  7. I would love love love a training buddy!! I don't find motivation the issue, more just having some eyes to really see where i'm going wrong would help!! and find it even harder that I don't really have a club to go to to practice either!! I'm thinking of starting again next year with a club or their trial ring runout nights, so hopefully that will help - so anyone around the Bris area, i'd love a training buddy!! :D
  8. Give Lottie a go for a week she, unfortunately missed the 'work for the love of my owner' gene that most aussies seem to have  She is a challenge and such a stubborn dog, but that's ok, I just think how easy my next aussie will be ;) A massive congrats Wuffles and Nik on your fantastic results this year, it's so nice when it all falls together!!! :D - I really need to join a club so I can win more trophies
  9. I love these threads!! With next year being my final year of uni, I doubt i'll get to many comps, so i'm really going to focus on agility!! Mainly ADAA, and hopefully get a few titles, but also get some titles in ANKC as well :D I would also love our CD title (we have one leg), but i'll see how we go, agility is my preference now I also hope to get her ET as wellnow that she's old enough :D That'll do us for the year, I can't wait to get into agility next year, we just LOVE it!!! Goodluck to everyone on their goals next year :D
  10. Loving all these pics!!! Here's a couple of my favourites.... One of my all time favourites.... And just one more.....
  11. It might not be just RS you'll be tempting........ ;) Love the pics!!! :D
  12. I totally agree with this - i'm new to the breed, with Lottie being my first dog, and I NEVER thought i'd become so obsessed with them (and it's hard not to, they're just such lovable, gorgeous dogs!!!). I can't wait until the time is right to add another aussie to my little family, and i'm hoping that's within the next 2 or so years!!!!! :D Can't wait to see the new pics, Gayle!!
  13. Found the ones I was looking for.... Ok - very last one I promise!!!!!! Find the dog (someone was a little excited to fetch a stick....)
  14. Love the pics everyone :D Well - when isn't Lottie in the water is the question to ask - I take her swimming pretty much everyday, she's a water baby!! Water beard..... Last one
  15. Wow, just goes to show that I only know people by their sigs and avatars...when did you change your name??? lol I changed it the day I could - a couple months ago (as I think you can only change it once a year?), before LuvLottie I had Beth, and I wanted to change it back, but then someone else already had Beth between then, so then I had to use Beth. - I probably should've added something else to it so it's not the same as the other Beth on the forum - sorry other Beth!!! :D
  16. I taught Lottie using the 2x2 method, and she steps - although i'm pretty sure that has alot to do with her size as well I also put down contacts as being the more difficult - but not the 2o2o, the fact that we don't have any to practice with makes it really hard!! And the club I got to rarely gets out the dogwalk But we're getting there.....
  17. Definitely. Yes marks the correct behaviour, Okay and Alright are release work is done words. This is what I do for Lottie as well And again, the same - I say 'stay' before DB, Recall etc, and also for the stays, so she seems to understand what I mean..... Some good news - Lotties leg is finally healed, so we can get back to training :D She's really craving some training, and after about a month of doing NONE, it'll be nice to get back into it!!!
  18. WAHOOOOO!!!! What a lovely way to finish your title (but that's what happens when you're awesome ;) )
  19. love this!!!!!! All these pics are classics - ah the things we do with our dogs... Last Christmas I'm so cool...
  20. I just have the one dog, as my circumstances wouldn't allow me another at the moment, and I don't see me getting another until after i'm finished my degree!! But I must admit, I really enjoy just having Lottie - we have our routine down pat, and she's such an easy going dog, which really does make things easy :D
  21. 1 female Australian Shepherd :D only the best breed ever..... Hopefully once I finish uni i'll add another Aussie to our family :D
  22. Lottie goes here as well (thanks to DOLers help), and he's great!! :D The change in her after seeing him was amazing!!
  23. Thank you everyone :D still so super proud of her!!! Her leg is ok, Ptolomy - I took her into the vet (waste of money and time, sigh) but anyway, luckily it was just a bad skin cut, and didn't need stitches at the moment, we're hoping it just heals itself!!! I'm just such a worry wort that I had to take her in to get it checked, just to double check that there was no real damage, and she obviously isn't in too much pain, as she was just sprinting around with a bottle in her mouth when she went out for a toilet break!!
