  1. I remember years ago in one of our Stafford litters a couple of them were very colicy - mum spoke to our vet and got the ok to give some babies "gripe" water and this settled their bellies and really gave some relief. Hope your baby does well.
  2. Before anything happens I try and sleep with mum up on the couch with me - one hand on her and out cold lol Its too hard to be awake beforehand and then once new pup watch begins. Good luck with the new little ones.
  3. Just ask the steward before you go in can they please make sure everyone has enough room and isnt crowded as has happened of late.

  8. 2 good ones from Adelaide Royal ... Dad pushing pram with 2 little ones walking, one little one says "dad what are those dogs" and dad replies "they are Daykeynes son". The benching sign with the prefix on it told him so Second one was a little boy asking what breed to which we replied Leonbergers. The mumma came walking along and as she got near the little fellow yells at the top of his voice "mum mum come over here and see the Chicken Burgers".... Priceless
  9. Congrats on the new champion - he looks great in the pic
  10. http://www.upei.ca/~cidd/Diseases/dermatol...%20alopecia.htm "What is colour dilution alopecia? This condition develops in some, but not all dogs that have been bred for unusual coat colour, especially "fawn" (a dilution of a normally red or brown coat) or "blue" ( a dilution of the normal black and tan coat colour). Alopecia means hairlessness - affected dogs have a poor, patchy haircoat progressing to widespread permanent hair loss. At the cellular level, there are abnormalities of the hair follicles and uneven clumping of pigment (melanin) granules in the hair shafts in affected areas"
  11. Contact for camping [email protected] - it says shower but no power and breakfast being cooked from 730am.
  12. We dont show pregnant bitches at all - not worth the risk.
  13. Great stuff - enjoy your new family member, Staffords make the BEST pets
  14. American Staffords are kennel club recognised and Irish are not - Irish Staffords is a name made up for Pitbull type dogs where Pitbulls are banned in UK and Ireland. As far as colour goes, I assume you are asking about Staffordshire Bull Terriers ? If so then Liver and Black and Tan are highly undesirable in terms of showing / breeding and every other recognised colour is equal and up to personal preference. Do not be sucked in to paying any more for a "rare" blue or blue fawn - one quick look at the puppies for sale on DOL will tell you they are anything but rare.
  15. Parti Hard Parti Frock Parti Shoes Princess Parti Hard
  16. We have had 2 surgical AI's now - 1 was whelped the evening of 58 and the other the evening of 59. From what I understand they are usually always 59 or thereabouts.
