I've been slack with photos lately! Envy is getting big and her coat is darker. This is her a couple of weeks ago on our trip to a friend's place in Brisbane Being a hussy!

Envy is getting huge and is a really nice burgundy colour. She is now 5 months old. at 19 weeks she weighed 18.6 kgs!!!This photo was yesterday, we went down to the esplanade for lunch and she was watching the seagulls calmly.

A friends ex considered a Malinois because mine were so well behaved - her logic, it doesn't look so hard. This was a girl who could barely look after 3 siamese fighting fish at the same time without a lot of assistance. So one day I stopped commanding my dogs when she visited and gave them to go free command ... mind changed :laugh: I had similar with my malinois - Envy was only 10 weeks old and my sister in law was giving her a cuddle and had spent about 10 seconds with her when she announced she wants one of this breed, what breed is it again? And okay, either one of these or a mastiff. A toss up between the two. She wasn't so keen on the malinois anymore after a few more minutes when she was being chewed :laugh:

I'm sorry you are going through this - I can relate to the stress of it. We have lived in the area for 5 years with our 2 dogs. We never had a complaint and we would check with our neighbours from time to time whether there was any nuisance barking and they all said it was fine. We then bought our house and moved a few blocks over. I met the immediate neighbours and asked them to please tell us if there was ever any nuisance barking. About a month after moving in I was at work and had 4 missed calls and a voicemail from the one mobile number. The voicemail abruptly informed me that my dogs were apparently barking all day every day, he is sick of it and fix it now. He didn't leave a name. I was very concerned. I put his mobile number into reverse phone lookup to see who he was and then confirmed by speaking to the neighbour behind me who it was and that he was a nutjob that hates animals and has complained about every dog and even cats in this area. He lives 2 doors up and the street behind me. I knew he was exaggerating as I had been home half the time so saying they were barking all day every day wasn't true. I started leaving the dogs inside whenever I was out, I filmed them a few times and I made some alterations to the yard so that they could see less through the fences to bark at. I checked with all three immediate neighbours, two of which are home all day and none of them had an issue with my dogs barking excessively. I then got two more calls from this man and let them go to voicemail again. Both times he called about my dogs barking - I was home. I had been home most the day both days and both times it was around 2:30 in the afternoon and something had made my dog bark for a few minutes at this time, for the first time all day. He immediately called to complain and in the messages said they were barking "all day" and "constantly." He basically sat there all day waiting for any barking then called me. He expects dogs to not bark, ever. He doesn't believe people should keep animals. There are a few of this type around and it sounds like you have also been unfortunate enough to live in earshot of one. I have found out that he has complained about every dog in his street to the council, has left anonymous letters to people in my street about their dogs barking and about wandering cats threatening to lock them up if they come in his yard. He eventually complained to the council. On a day that I know there was no barking. The council officer came and had a cuppa with me and was here for nearly 2 hours and observed no excessive barking. He played fetch with the dogs and there were a couple of barks during the play. I told him I'd get a phone call if it continued and he said that would be unreasonable as it's not considered excessive. He spoke to the complainer and advised him he did not find the complaint to be valid. The complainer said he had heard barking on Friday, when the council officer was playing with them. Council officer told him yes they barked a bit when they played with him and the complainer said, "well that's barking." He was told that it was not excessive and that he has to be able to prove they bark excessively for council to look into it again, which is something like 15 barks per 30 seconds or something. Thankfully I haven't heard anything since but I was stressed out. When he kept calling me and I then saw him drive past my house slowly looking in, that was enough. I felt harrassed and very concerned that he might try to harm my dogs.

No not as their diet. I have recently used it to stuff some Kong's as a treat though.

Does he paw at or go to the door when he wants to go out? You could attach it there if he did. I had a client that wanted to know if their tiny mini poodle pup could ring a bell when he needed to go out to toilet as they didn't have time to take him out every few hours. They also queried whether realistic to teach him to use a loo and flush it. The little dog was only the size of a good poo!

My older two can do it but I remember it did take them a while to learn the coordination. Now the 4 month old malinois puppy just looks puzzled as it bounces off her head or nose...

Chester and Lola have always have beautiful shiny coats and I always get comments. So I've been puzzled that Envy's coat is dry. I've been adding fish, eggs and omega oils to their food and her coat is maybe slightly better but not a lot. Not sure what else to do. Any suggestions? They all get black hawk dry food, Envy's is the puppy version, plus raw meat, meaty bones, chicken necks and frames, eggs, whole fish, veges, sardines plus the oil.

Yes they had two foals and one was a clydie, so cute. They were really calm and enjoying their first ever time on the beach :) Sumo and Willow are both adorable. And wow Sumo is getting huge fast!

I should be happy, I have dog training clients today (rather than my other part time job). Just not feeling it though. I want to stay home with my own doggies. Some people I know aren't going to listen so I'm not that excited about it.

So cute Hankodie!! We went to the beach today too. It was hot and sunny so there were a few people around and even someone walking their 2 horses on the beach I'll get some photos up :)

I run my dog training classes at a primary school. Most other trainers I know that run group classes do too but they all had to find a school that would hire the grounds to them. I did find it a bit tricky to find one that would let me as no one in my area had done this before and some places had a very 'no dogs in schools' mentality, but i found a nice one that was happy to have me there. We closed classes due to elections but I think next time I'll keep them on as we use the oval and it shouldn't interfere other than parking. Maybe some voters will come and see the classes and sign up. Very glad I don't vote.

She is getting so big. Not much puppy time left We just went out to the kitchen and she sat and farted loud again. So funny
