  1. I spoke to a lady at the trial that works with rescue and looks like i have a org sorted now, think they will be better and they are closer to me . For anyone ontersted she is a very freindly dog, was very respectful of my swf who is a bossy boots, got along great with any dogs she met esp mine , she has a lovely temp , she is ripe for some training, was very easily coxed inot doing what was aksed for a treat , played well with other dogs , friendly and just a bit enthusiastic to meet ppl, but that would not take long to correct .I will pm you now as i have got this blinking net to work
  2. Mulan was around 18 when I PTS , i rescuesd her from the pound chi x pom Misty was 16 when I PTS blue catlle , she was like the family hierloom, had lived with severasl of us , but was me at the start and at the end
  3. very good, may as well get the ball rolling :D will try others if they can't help
  4. ahhh thats good , as long as she isn't a escape artist lol I will contact a few of the ladies from here to and see if they can help me
  5. it is where the dog shows are , CNCC SHOWGROUND, HILLSBOROUGH RD, HILLSBOROUGH, you will see all the cars and dog trailers from the road , not far from the highway overpass , you go in the gate and veer round to the right , follow the road round and over a lil bridge , keep follow and you will find the agility down the back I don't know exactly how housetrained she is - she does pee herself if she's frightened or uncertain (she's a big puppy). I'll probably get there lateish as I have to work until 1ish then I'm meant to be going and checking a horsefloat out (I might try to postpone that until Sunday) Which grounds at Hillsborough are they? I don't know the area very well lol ETA - I'm sure your yards would be fine - by the sounds of it you've got dogs similar to Priya, she'd stick with them fairly well I think :)
  6. ok so she sounds like she will work for me to foster her, we need a rescue org to take me under their wings and help find her a home why do you have her penned when you are at work ? where are your other dogs? I am just trying to get an idea of what she is like, I dont have high fences , but good fences , but my dogs wont jump a waist high fence , so I was never going to have an issue with the fences here, she wouldn;t be left out unattended here to start with anyway .
  7. be happy to meet and poss take her home, she sounds like she will fit in here with us , we go walkies almost every day , training , they come down the paddock with me when I do chores and do a lot of playing . the trial starts at 4 down the back of the grounds , I plan to be there around 2 to set up and let the dogs have a run , if you ask someone to point you in the direction of Choppers mum , they will know who you are looking for , almost every1 knows Chopper i am just his sidekick  if you know the agility rings , I will most likely set up on the op side of the rings from the building . I can pm you my mob number, but I rarely have it with me at a trial . oh I didn;t ask if she was housetrained eta just realised u may want to get me yard checked
  8. is she crate trained, what is she like with SWF's my two are always happy to have visitors to play with , but I have a malt x that is my heart and soul and must be respected by all and sundry  I work and she would be crated until she learnt the rules , but i can arrange visitors that can stop in and let her out for plays , as they do mine anyway , I am only away from home max 9hrs . Good fences . agility home , she would be travelling around a bit . If u really are desperate for a foster home , I will be at hillsborough grounds for a trial on sat night , she can meet my crew and see how they get along I have never fostered before , but Chopper rottix and ricki kelpie are both rescues I live west sydney thought so dont know how u would sort the possible homes and what not , dont know how all that is done , but i am sure one of the sydney ladies would help me
  9. i have noticed that the smaller peices are harder for them to get and it takes mine longer to inhale their food , they have to chase it round more
  10. I was seated next to a lady on a plane once, that had a baby, I admit to having a this is gunna be a long journey moment, but the bub was very easily amused and we shared a few drinks and chatted all the way home, mind you it was only a 2 hr flight  I wouldn't have a prob with being next to them, but I wouldn;t last long if they were crying all the way or mucking up , I often end up playing with them if they are well behaved. Doesn't mean i wont groan when I see one coming to sit next to me , seems that being a female travelling alone instantly targets you for a child next to you , but i don't immediately ask to be moved , think that is being just a bit precious and don't assume all kids are feral, just some , ones that aren't associated with me cant be berated by me , so I stay away generally
  11. well few weeks in now, they are now on full BH , instead of mixed with old kibble and no farting  from the dogs anyway
  12. I don't like kids, adults can get on my nerves too  I get along with kids quite well and have fun with them, but they have to behave or back to parents , I have no patience whatsoever for misbehavior , behave or miss out, so they behave and we have fun . As I have gotten older I have less and less tolerance and spend less time with kids I will avoid contact with kids if I can
  13. does any1 know what the reason ash in dog food is added for ? I have just bought a bag and am giving my lot a go at it again, as the sample wasn't enough for a good test . I was told the ash is higher than most other brands and wondered why it is added , then had sm1 say they would not use it as the ash was too high an amount , must say I am not getting the wind that he did when I tried the sampl with him
  14. she looks fantastic, well done to you all, so good to have watched from the start and see her so happy and healthy
