Do you know the history of your pug? I remember you saying he was your sisters so I don't know if you know his background. Like, is he from a registered breeder, BYB, do you know his breeder, is is pedigree (ie: definitly purebred or could he have a tiny bit of something else in him), what was the health history of his parents, grandparents, great grand-parents, great-great-grand parents? If it is genetic, are MCT's in his history?
-
Or you could find lines that have no history of those health problems, which reduces the chances?
-
Love to see what they would say if I rocked up with my pug
-
My two pugs get yoghurt with their breakfast, quite often they come running back to me with it on their head or ears and I'm like, did you eat it, or roll in it
-
What's this got to do with the OP's issue?
-
Do you have anything in writing saying he would be sold to you on mains?

Still waiting to see a nomination this year for him www.mdbaawards.net.au Maybe because the link to your downloadable nomination form throws an error?

Why don't you contact them and ask?
-
They mentioned leaving Sydney, so I think that might be why the suggestion was given :)

Hanrob is at Sutherland..... about 90 minutes from Nowra or more. Not unless they now have a closer branch? But if you live in Sydney and are going to nowra, it's on the way.

Yeh I'd be finding a class with a trainer that offered helpful advice! Were they a trainer, or just someone teaching obedience?
-
Were there trainers to give you some help on how to handle him, or did they Just let him bark and carry on without giving you any ideas on how to settle him?

Why was a 6 month old Maltease out jogging? Poor little thing.
-
Their stomach will know what to do - they will puke it up soon (or at 2am, if they are anything like my dogs).
-
At that age he will need to wee often - as soon as he wakes up, during the night, after playing, eating, napping, sneezing, looking sideways, etc

Sounds like something bicarb could be good for - dampen the stains, cover with bicarb, scrub a bit then wash off with hot water. How old is pup? If he's little he probably shouldn't be doing stairs often anyway, so taking him down to go to the bathroom would best for him and for your pavers ;)

I had a rental inspection today, I think somewhere along the lines I forgot to tell them I had two dogs (we have one included on the lease) but she didn't comment, she just said how cute they both were and said "see you in 12 months" when she left after the 3 minute inspection  However, the owner of my house lives across the road and is aware of everything we do (his bedroom looks over our backyard), plus he's been here several times fixing things etc But doing it formally is always the best way, and I should in case my agent leave and another one comes along and prefers to follow rules and has an issue with two dogs.

My guys have two expensive beds and one mid-range (all different textures and sizes and shapes to suit their mood). They prefer the bath mat  I recently took their crates down as they had cobwebs over the doors.

On the topic of frustrating dog park events... this morning there was a dog "trainer" (I use the term loosely...) in my local off leash dog park with a client. A dog in a halti, they were parading it around encouraging it to "hi say" to all the doggies, then yanking on its head it if showed too much interest or took a step towards the dogs they were making it interact with, or heaven forbid it wagged its tail and tried to play. The "trainer" then grabbed its head and shoved it down into a water bowl to make it drink, and when it tried to take a step away she shoved it with her leg to put it back. Luckily she had her business logo on her shirt so I now know to advise people where not to go for help with their dogs. I didn't stay around long, I grabbed my dogs and moved away as she kept calling them over to try and say hi to her dog

Question About Release Fees Please
minimax replied to Loreley's topic in Dog Rescue (General Rescue Discussion)
Are they an actual rescue? -
Why not go to a store and see what you like the look/feel of, if you want to buy from a store? Depends what style of bed you want, but the Snooza range is good.
