All it takes is one (or two). I doubt all breeders desex puppies before selling them, so there you go. Just takes one undesexed puppy sold to the wrong person.

You can get removable (but secure) dog doors for sliding doors, have you looked into those? Can recall the name, but someone else here will remember them. edit: like these http://www.patiolink.com.au/ they require no modifications to the existing door.

The other question to be asked, if they think it's acceptable to store the needles in a container like that, how do they think it's acceptable to then dispose of them? Does she just put that container in the bin for normal garbage collection?

Yep, at the dog park on the weekend there was a dog, looked like a lab x beagle and completely food obsessed. Diving into peoples pockets, bags, and jumping up onto tables to try and get to plates. When he did it to one table THEY GAVE HIM SOME FOOD! If it was my dog I would have been furious, not only for feeding him but for encouraging the behaviour. Although the owner wasn't watching, so partly their fault too, but still. Moronic people out there. And partly the reason I can't get my pugs to stop jumping up on people when we are out, because people encourage it like that

finally someone pointed out the obvious! Tori Gould As much as I disagree with it I cannot see the rspca requesting help from a shelter they're investigating and have laid charges on. We know moorook is innocent but the rspca arent likely to place animals in the care of a shelter they say has committed cruelty. There are heaps of shelters putting their hand up..even up here in Sydney. I hope the RSPCA publically names and thanks each rescue that take some of these animals and I hope people donate to those rescues

It probably started the process that led to this raid though, it just takes time for everything to be put together so it's done properly to make sure the puppy farmers don't get away with it on a technicality that could have been avoided by going carefully and crossing every t, dotting every i ... etc I wonder if all the people who are sharing it on FB are aware that this is behind those cute little puppies in pet shop windows, and if it will have an impact on the general publics view of pet shop puppies.

Depends on what straps or attachments you have, or if you want to buy new ones. You could use the chest strap, but might be a bit big for a small dog. Or hang it off a collar would be easier, probably, rather than attaching it to a harness. So then it can hang down, as there really isn't anything on the front of a harness to attach it to, unless you wrap a strap around, which would be uncomfortable for the dog. And someone asked him a question about something non-animal related on his FB, and he couldn't help, nor could he have cared less to find out how to help them. To me, that says a lot about him. He wouldn't get any public glory from assisting them, so no need to bother.

When they don't accept his generous offer (which of course is generous as he isn't there helping at Moorook each day, caring for an extra 70 dogs) he can play the victim and pull the big bad RSPCA don't care about the dogs because they didn't take up his offer of assistance.

So, this morning MA posts that he's contacted Tim, who is now CEO of RSPCA SA and offered support for the 100 dogs they have just seized, as Moorook has room for up to 70 and is willing to cover costs? I wonder how that will go down...

Well the guide dogs have the access rights as they are performing a job for their owner, the puppy isn't performing a job yet.

It was fairly obvious that this was a troll thread.... agree. Yet, no one has been trolling.

Why not ask the organisation you'd be caring for? But I doubt they would as puppies, only once accredited.
