  1. Sezz that puppy looks sickly and like it has a heavy worm burden.
  2. What's different about it ?
  3. You know what happened to Susan from Seinfeld
  4. It's a big no from me. Mine run as a pack and play hard and fast all day. It's not worth the risk and I have had one get caught up during play, it was lucky that I was there to pull them apart.
  5. Probably me PF but I've posted the same way for however many years and if people don't like it they can lump it.
  6. I so wish I hadn't looked at Hide and Collars. I have a bit of an addiction to Whippet collars and that place could continue to fuel it LOL
  7. I'll be honest here, you are setting this puppy up for failure. Do not allow the kids to pick him up or disturb him when alseep, he's warning them that he's not happy with that, yet it continues. Get some professional help now, because quite frankly it's beyond you at this point in time to make an assessment and put in place a plan that is in the best interests of the puppy and your children.
  8. Red ACDs certainly aren't! Blue's have black nose too.
  9. As far as I know, ACD's have black noses are are not a dilute.
  10. Haven't they all but blown the " cocker rage " theory out of the water ?
  11. Yep and it's funny when it's their front leg, they go splat LOL I wouldn't be worried unless it happens on a more regular basis or you see other signs that would indicate a problem
  12. If you want to show her, then you'd be better off taping those ears, than worrying about her coat colour.
  13. If she had a litter on the ground in October last year, text book says she'd be back in season about 4 months after that, whelped in 9 weeks and back in another four months later, give or take a few days . She could quite possibly be back in whelp again, if she cycles every 6 months. If she's a bitch that cycles more often than that ( I've got one who goes every 4.5 months and I've had one who cycles every four months ), then it's entirely possible to be pumping out litter after litter in that short amount of time.
  14. That is really lovely that the gentleman will be able to come home to his dog. It's a much better solution to help an owner and prevent animals being surrendered to pounds.
  15. We've had several rounds of kennel cough over the years. The dogs that have been vaccinated, have been the one's who were sickest and hit hardest by this. The last time we had KC, it only affected by youngest dog and a bitch who was recovering from surgery. The rest , who have never been vaccinated against KC were all fine.
  16. Lots of grains and fillers in one end = large poo out the other. It's nothing to do with laziness and not wanting to clean up, my preference to to feed a dog a raw and balanced diet, not fill it's gut with cereals every morning.
  17. Maybe it's time to let this go. The dogs are cared for and if your daughter felt strongly enough, she'd have told her OH to take them back. You're starting to sound a little hysterical and obessed.
  18. Yep no worries and let me know if you need any more
  19. Optimum is the better of the supermarket brands. The premium foods are certainly worth the $, you feed less, the dogs crap less. The cheap foods are pretty much full of grains ( fillers ) and what they call meat, are disgusting parts of the animals. A large bag of Royal Canin will last you months for one dog.
  20. Staffords do extremely well on raw and it may well be the pups preference. The majority of mine are fed and all raw diet, I do have a couple that have dry and we have excellent results from Royal Canin.
  21. It's the meat, sinew and the stripping action that helps keep the teeth clean. Roo tails are a good alternative, it takes time to strip the meat away and they provide a meal.
  22. Same here, all they do is wear down the dogs teeth.
