  1. Hi all Ive been out of the dog training and showing world for a long time now and no longer have all my contacts and we are wanting to add a Stafford back to our family. We are happy with a rescue or via a breeder, but not sure where to start anymore! I am in NSW and my husband is in Brisbane twice a week. Does anyone have any amazing rescues i could start looking at? Or any breeders they would recommend? (NOTE: Im not interested in any breeder who breeds for colour only) We are also happy to wait for the right dog. Thank you
  2. Solid colours do happen but not as often. I'm on a bull terrier group on facebook, want me to add you? One day I would love a solid black!!
  3. My first dog. Atlas, my bull terrier Growing up we had a boxer, Suzie Then a red cattle Dog called Major, then out Stafford Zeus and dad got a British bulldog, Duke, just before I moved out
  4. Ahaha yeah dog food!! Thanks. I'll spend my social distancing looking into it at swimming today!. And two best dogs. I got hello fresh in Wednesday, a free box, and if I could afford it for 6 people I would keep doing it!! Yum!!
  5. Just wondering if anyone has a regularly online delivery for food? I'm sick of running out all the time, so thought this may be the way to go!! Who do you use ?
  6. Maybe a cake. Got a lot going on here and I almost forgot it was her birthday week!! Oops!
  7. I find I can't upload a photo but can a screen shot. So I screen shot the photo and then upload that !!
  8. Wel my baby girl is 1 next week!!
  9. I have to say I disagree! My husband isnt an animal person. He would be happy without any pets. But there is no way I could do that He hardly has anything to do with Bolt, but she doesn't suffer because of it. Husband knows the dog is coming when we go out, he doesn't like it but has no choice! It can work, as long as the other person is 100% committed
  10. Barking and digging are often a sign of boredom if you give your dog plenty of stimulation it should decrease the chances of that happening
  11. My chairs have started to explode...
  12. She just has to stop sitting on the cats, they are getting over it !!
  13. 4 months old now! She is still a great pup, loves playing, and picked up fetch very fast (as long as its her rainbow soft toy and nothing else !LOL) She is sleeping through the night with no accidents. She isnt took keen on walking, happy to sit out the front and sniff around, but take her for a walk and she just stops (Atlas was the same!!) once it cools down we will get stuck into trying to get her to enjoy it! So far she isnt overly destructive, but im sure that will change now ive posted it!! She loves playing but isnt too sure of dads bulldog, Monty is very full on and a bit too much for poor Bolt!! Nick is now training her to run beside his scooter, they are great friends
  14. Yep But I'm hopeless as I use my phone and have no idea how to put photos up with it!! I'll jump on the computer later today and upload some !
  15. She is great, she still has the odd nip but once she sees the water bottle she stops She is amazing with the kids, I couldn't have asked for a better dog
  16. you'll also be looking at paying papered prices from the rspca for these pups but Bull Terrier rescue do have dogs in care, if this is a breed you think would suit - maybe contact them? \
  17. It sure is he still says daily that he misses his uncle and Kaos, but is nowhere near as upset about it
  18. yep! Nick hasnt cried himself to sleep in over 2 weeks! He has asked can she sleep in his room, once she is fully toilet trained ill set a bed up in there for him so she can!
  19. Some photos :D She loves Nick, they spend all day exploring ! Sophie is still a little scared of her, but is getting better!
  20. She is amazing picking up training so fast, is great with the kids - the only issue is she loves teasing my old cat! I can’t complain at all, she is soooo different to Atlas and Kaos, it’s a very new experience! How are you guys going ?
  21. haha yep, i had a Kaos for 13 years, so we can deal with a Bolt!!
  22. She was perfect ! Met the cats and was fine with them, slept in the crate all night, no accidents and no crying she has most slotted in perfectly like she has Always been here !! We are going around tomorrow to meet dads 7 month old British Bulldog, so that will be interesting !!! He is a full on dog !!
