  1. we have the ezydog ones and it doesn't seem to be a problem for Hunter at all... this is possible due to the fact that his jacket is a little on the small side for him. I tried to find some photos which shows where the strap sits but didn't have a very good one sorry. It looks in the photos that it might be a problem, but this isn't the case in real life... if I'm making any sense at all  ETA we had the same issue with their bums sinking, and the jackets have really helped with that every now and then Hunter will go into froggy position and just let his back end float
  2. Came across this on the K9pro site and wondered if anyone has tried it? Hunter periodically gets little bumps on the back and shoulders which scab over and I'm starting to think they may be hot spots rather than the allergy reaction I assumed. It doesn't seem to bother him at all and I would like to try something natural and chemical free to see if it helps.
  3. I don't use the complete mix as we do our own home made raw feeding based on BARF. We do use the VAN health booster though, which seems to be giving very good results. I also thought it would work out to be expensive using the complete mix product, but I wanted to make sure we weren't accidentally depriving the dogs of any nutrients from feeding incorrectly.
  4. Snook I'm jealous you can get Justice to wear a hat  so cute
  5. This is mum's girl Buffy ... I would love to know what she has in her. My suster picked her up wandering along the highway one day, very skinny, and they could never find her previous owners. she is the most beautifully natured dog.. if a bit goofy! she like to jump up and wrap her forelegs around you for a hug
  6. haha saw the couch video after the toy one... Hunter does the same thing, including trying to eat my nose
  7. wow - believe me no need to lack confidence! great photos, and gorgeous models!
  8. oh no ... sudden onset kitten cluckiness haha gorgeous
  9. aww that first photo is gorgeous ... I want one :)
  10. Same here ... we always joke that Juno is a cat stuck in a dog's body ... and Hunter is constantly on top of me lol. He thinks he is a lapdog but he is just a little bit heavy!
  11. oooh I want one  gorgeous - he does look stubborn though :D
  12. huh thanks Kelpie Cuddles and Sir Snook ... I didn't know about that one! much easier lol ETA now that I look at it i'm like duuuhhh ... I see that attachment link almost everyday but it never clicked in my brain haha
  13. to post a picture you have to upload it to a site like photobucket which will host it online, and provide you with a url / link. Then you click on the little yellow rectangle at the top of the box where you type in your post. Paste the image url into the box that pops up, and click insert image. It can be complicated to get your head around when you first start but it's pretty easy once you know how to do it :)
  14. i'm impressed! it always surprises me what practical/hands on people can accomplish, if that makes sense  I would look at the before picture and have no idea where to start, and feel quite daunted about whether it was even possible
  15. How scary for you don't worry, you have come to the right place for advice - I love reading all the wealth of information that the people here are willing to share to help others.
  16. Would you have them any other way? all I can say is it's lucky they are cute  Maybe as they mature they will become a little more heroic ... Hunter sounded very impressive when he actually barked at the front door the other day. Of course, he did have to run back and sit on my lap for comfort while he did it... and it was my sister, not a home invader... but there's potential there!
  17. this is true .. maybe i'm not giving them enough credit  or maybe they are just naughty little buggers lol
  18. ... maybe my two are trying to be heroic and promote feminism when they destroy yet another one of my bras? maybe a stretch
  19. Wow there are some really amazing stories - I think we underestimate our doggie friends a lot of the time! Mine isn't quite as impressive - but mum was thankful for the help! When I was young we had a ridgeback staffy cross ... beautiful girl, perfect kids dog. One day mum was down in the back paddock and got bailed up by a huge male kangaroo. She called for Cedar who was all the way back up at the house and she came barreling down to chase him off. I think that was one of the only times I can think of when she actually came when she was called
  20. Haha not only useful but pretty hilarious also :D Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
