Is she desexed? I have had bitches with changes in their toileting at her age and it was due to them coming into season

Sorry to hear about Mac I do not have much to add, but my Pei bitch Jewel was diagnoses with Systemic Lupus a few months ago, while it is nothing like Mac has it is an auto-immune disease I tried her on all the convential medication given by the vet and nothing was helping, my last shot was chemo, which she had one dose of and it made her violentally ill My vet recommended a holistic vet and after a consultation, we started treatment Jewel is now stable, fur grown back, has not vomitted or poo'ed blood in 3 weeks, she is over weight, but due to her bad thyroid I cannot get the weight off The holistic vet achieved the results that the vet could not Give it a try

Scream like a puppy when he bites you, will teach him quick this is a no-no But I only use it on puppies under 4 months, older pups need a different method

The Dangers Of Giving Advice On Forums
peibe replied to JulesP's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Agreed it can be dangerous, although I will offer advise on some issues especially concerning my breed of choice -
He would recognise the smell, dogs are great like that Mine will recognise a dog that I fostered a year later

Making him tired is a good idea, an over excited adult can hurt a pup without meaning too But yes, she cannot go to the beach until 2 weeks after her third vaccination at 18 weeks Do not put her on the ground anywhere especially at the vets until she has had all her vaccinations too He might not be real food orientated now but having to compete with another dog for food might bring it out in him

Goodluck with your new pup I do not recommend feeding seperately though While the pup is small I would crat her to feed, with your boy being feed first as he is Alpha dog but with them next to eachother so they can see eachother eat Feeding a pup seperately can create food aggression as they mature ETA, do not bring the puppy home and let them meet for the first time If possible ask her breeder for a blanket that smell like the pup to bring home before you bring Chilli home, let Diesel smell this When you pick her up take them to nuetral territory, remember Chilli has not had all her vaccinations so cannot be walked on a public street etc yet I would have her in a crate and let him smell her at a friends house or a few houses up from your own, then bring her home after 20 minutes or when he is not so excited, Keep her in the crate at your home, let him explore then let her out to look around while he is in the crate Swap them over a few times and put them both on lead and see how things go a well socialised adult dog should not harm a puppy delierately

Hydrobath Ccompany In Liquidation
peibe replied to poodlemum's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
If the company was still trading and selling products while they where in talks with a liquadator it is illegal Had a similar thing happen at work recently, we fought and won and got paid I would be following this through, contacting Dept of Fair Trade to see where you stand -
LOL at PC, my Zephyr has a penchant for bubblegum and will even try to eat it off the footpath on our walks, he has not had a problem, even though I try to stop him eating it I lost $40 dollars on the weekend, picked it up yesterday in his poo LOL

I would be worried about vets that see her as a Cattle, if there is Cattle it would be thrice removed

Total refund, except maybe $50 for the cost of readvertising him Irresponsible breeder selling to a Mum with 2 kids under 2, if they knew you had 2 kids under 2
-
As everyone has said the timing is wrong Call the breeder Just out of curiousity, does the breeder know you have a 3 month old and a 19 month old?
-
I would be contacting the breeder and asking to return the puppy I could not cope with a pup with 3 kids under 3 and do not know many people who could Is your yard secure? have you thought about putting him outside to sleep at night? He might be used to this from teh breeder But I would call the breeder and talk to them about your problems I agree with dogmad

Anyone Clipped A Chow Chow ?
peibe replied to charlie mouse's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I rescued a Chow last year, his coat was a matted mess and we had no choice but to shave him, almost bare in places His new owner has to have him shaved all the time now as his coat is horrible and cannot be tamed I agree with the others, do not clip double coated breeds unless they are matted
