I would want that dog in the ACT at a place that will assess it individually regardless of breed, unless it has a fully committed home elsewhere, Yeah would love for him to go to ACT. I just really didnt think he would be safe in qlds which is where this other "rescue" was gonna ship him off too.

No one should have to go through this ever. Being scared while trying to enjoy a nice walk with your dogs is crap. Do the dogs seem nervous at all?

They were also found on the same road so I am hoping a fence blew open and the owners come for them

Here is a silly question because I keep getting different answers and being told I am being unreasonable. I have a dog here that another group was going to send to qlds now am I crazy or would this dog not have been safe up there should he have been picked up by council? I know you cant say for sure but I guess what I am asking is if you would send this dog to QLDs

What pisses me off about this is that if the greyhounds would have gotten out and mauled another dog it would have been on the news!

I am on 600 acres about 2 acres which is fenced but there are gates that stay open unless I am running the other dogs in the yard my grey hangs out and has wonderful recall she is an ex racer. I think a lot of it depends on the dog and how much you have worked with them. I have never tried her off leash in public and have never taken her to the dog park so can only speak on this one dog and living in the country.

What do you do with the dog while you are home? a kelpie/ border cross will need a lot of stimulation a job of sorts some will go mad in a yard with nothing to do or they will find a job themselves. Could try getting involved in flyball, agility or something like that. Could try hiding treats, bones etc all over the yard to keep him busy. Could try running them before work and after. I agree with finding a trainer to work with. Bark collars are a band aid not a long term solution. I think youll find once the dog is mentally happy the barking will lessen if not stop all together.

She actually stopped me from doing meet and greets, I was yelled at because I told one family that the dog had bad anxiety and would not be ok to be left alone during the day until they got him worked with. Another dog took awhile to rehome because he literally needed at least an hour of hard exercise a day or he would get destructive. One of the things she nabbed me on which made it legal to fire me was it was in the contract all dogs had to have muzzles on if there were more than two out at a time. Well how fun is it for 2 dogs to play together if they have to have muzzles this was only a month or so after she posted the infamous riley playing muzzle free with another dog and praising how good it was to see. When she locked me out of the dogs it was heartbreaking but they have all since been rehomed so I am happy about that. I really missed sissy and Riley. Riley would bang his head against the kennel all night and I could hear it and it was just awful. They dont care

Thanks I am sure they will be adopted but sometimes you never know or sometimes once in the pound they get nervous and are labelled rescue only.

There are 3 in blacktown pound they are not due out until the 21st but thought rescue may want to know they are there.

No I didnt network or learn from PR She has nothing to teach a single person. I didnt start networking until after I was no longer with them. I would not consider myself dodgy thats exactly why i was no longer welcome to work at star i wasnt dodgy, wouldnt drug dogs, didnt think dogs that attacked kids (one of them being my daughter) should be rehomed, i wanted to do homechecks that got me in trouble too. I can only apologize and move forward its up to others to forgive or not and their right to refuse to forgive.

If you had your rescue group's name on him, sas, why wasn't that on the Renbury website, I wonder. Not that I was looking at the website which I very rarely do anymore, just this thread caught my eye. Knowing Renbury, I would have thought they would be up to the mark and would not want misrepresentations of their intentions regarding any animal. So reprehensible of people such as Pound Rounds. it wouldnt be the first time Renbury has left a name off a dog. I was working on one for a while only to find a rescue that could take the dog and when the rescue went to put their name down they said someone already had but it wasnt on the site. Another time a rescue was told they couldnt put the name on the dog until its holding period was over which I found odd.

Yes it does but I think that is more because you guys are upfront and honest. You dont sugar coat things which people can take as unwelcoming but is needed.

I dont have a CFN I do have a go fund me which I was told is legal to use and if its clear you dont have tax deduction it would be fine is this not correct? I have only been able to speak to one member here in person and I did apologize and I think we patched it all up. I was going to start a post here but thought the members wouldnt want a cat fight and I just want to help dogs not fight with people over my stupidity. Its no excuse but I was convinced this forum was full of terrible people that I should hate especially silky and seniors but from all the research I have done and people I have talked to Silky and seniors is a top notch rescue. And put the people who initially defended you in a really crappy situation. I wanted to believe your heart was in the right place and put myself out there in your defense. And for that, you turned around and proved everyone else right If anyone wants to know why I'm so wary of new rescues and no longer waste my time trying to educate others to do better, there's one reason, right there. Not a turn around as such just a firm tug of my head out of my ass. Having to eat that humble pie and love it because I was so wrong and you all were so damn right. I wasnt working with peter and janet more networking with them a bit, chatting and learning from them but that all fell apart thanks to the one who thinks she is gods gift to pound dogs. As far as the dol crap good ol me believed everything I was told by MN and let myself get brainwashed and couldnt see through all the smoke enough to see what everyone was saying until I saw such horrible things for myself. I do apologize for anything and everything I have ever said or done took a few months of kicking myself in the ass and regretting all the BS all I ever wanted to do is help dogs. Now that I have gotten away from scum I am on the right track and helping a lot of dogs. The support I have gotten since shaking off the fleas of the rescue world has been wonderful. Dont blame you if you hate me but I hope that it wont impact on me helping the dogs.
