  1. I hope the results were good for you both Anne, thinking of you as always
  2. So sorry for your loss, what a beautiful bunny. RIP Benjamin Bunny
  3. Definitely a hard call, I know I questioned whether Jaida was OK for another day or two a few times.
  4. Hmm, she was probably coughing about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks before I had her PTS. It wasn't a series of coughs, it was pretty much just one cough/hack type of thing. If I wasn't in the same room with her or the house wasn't quiet I wouldn't have noticed it.
  5. I would say if she's still active and happy then she is OK for now. Could those times when you think maybe she is suffering be her in pain? If so perhaps you could look into pain management for her. When Jaida's cancer moved to her lungs it didn't seem to bother her at all, but hers didn't get far enough for me to be able to hear it just when she was breathing, she would just cough every now and then.
  6. Posting those tomorrow for you Anne, I'm going to try and equal your super protection wrapping
  7. I wouldn't be able to keep myself from cracking up :D
  8. I'm so sorry for your loss RIP Julie
  9. For those that know, is this a similar thing to what Asher had? I'm sure I remember spine and fungal infection in there somewhere
  10. Will be around to drop the dogs off :p *snort* Bugger that, it's a DYI jobbie!!! BUT, I WILL put the kettle on!!! Clearly you have never seen anyone attempt to bath Kovu Daegon is fine, he will even let you blow dry him
  11. Oh geez ellz, you should have got PINK!
  12. So glad to see you found the mistletoe! How is it all going now that she's been on it for a few days? I hope that there will be improvement soon for you both. It is very cold, everyone here is more subdued too (although I'm thinking thank god). Hopefully it warms up a bit for you over there so that you can get her out and about a bit again.
  13. I'm so sorry for your loss Nicole RIP Josh
  14. So glad to hear she's much better today, I hope you're doing better as well
  15. I hope you've had a better day today than yesterday cavNrott The cold mornings were difficult for Jaida, keeping the heater on to keep everything warm for her really seemed to help. That may have been because she had arthritis on top of the osteo though, I'm not sure.
  16. I hope Sophie is feeling better tonight Anne :D Jaida would be much more quiet during the evening and night if we had taken her out during that day...as much as she loved going out and about it really wore her out. Sleeping with an electric blanket...very nice! Even I can't sleep with one of those anymore
  17. So sorry to hear this, osteo is so fast RIP Zac
  18. I hope everything is OK Anne, thinking of you and Sophie every day
  19. Wow, what a stunning dog he was! So sorry for your loss, RIP Link
  20. Oh no! Hopefully the operation goes well!
  21. I can only say what happened with Jaida, but hers spread very quickly and you could hear it in her lungs within a couple of weeks. The thing with osteo is once you recognise it, it's too late, you can do all you want but you are only giving them time, you cannot get rid of it
  22. Hope the oncologist report is a good one tomorrow Anne Kaz, Jaida's lump was very hard...I don't like the sound of this one you've described. I hope that it's nothing serious
