Great photos Grizabella, I love the way Boyd plays with Zuri. I finally made it the Adelaide Zoo on Monday, found great parking out the back (never knew it was there lol) and was there on opening. The light going from shade to dappled to full sun certainly tested my manual skins and was mentally drained after a couple hours from constantly checking and changing my settings. certainly a great place to learn and practice getting your exposure correct Will upoad over a few post as narrowing down over 400 photos is so hard :D Leanne this is Puspa and after 3 years of being at the Zoo has finally decided to venture outside this past week :) this gorgeous Mandrill was so happy showing off for me

Loving all the bird photos I have been so envious of every ones "Bird of Prey" photos as I just could not seem to find any. Well tonight a did :D a gorgeous Black Kite was circling near close to where we where fishing. and a few more of the local residents :) catching the last of the afternoon sun Leanne

I don't get much time to photography sunsets but try to escape when I can. There was not much happening last night and this was the best I could get. Hopefully now that daylight savings is about to start I can get out there a bit more :) Will also look at buying a remote for the camera so I can do some long exposure shots as the timer on the camera is just not doing the job. Thank you both. Yes there advertising is bad, only found the schedule for entering 2 days before entries closed but you really didn't miss much, we where only there for less than 2 hours and most of that was spent watch the shearing and show jumping as it only took 30 minutes to check out all the displays etc. Callington show is coming up at the end of next month and that is much better to go to :D Leanne

Thank you both Taken using a Canon 600D and a Tamron 28075 f/2.8 lens, can pick up both for around $1000 No animals where hurt during the shoot but the poor Koala lost an arm before taking the photos Leanne

some more the youngest (12) and oldest (82) competing in the sheaf toss my son having a go at the shooting gallery these where taking with my phone but I also entered some photos in the show I won best album photo overall (amongst some other firsts etc) and won a rosette and a printing voucher :D Leanne
