  1. Post up the photos and info you want used and I will have a go for you. I would say that the person who made it for you has deleted it from their photobucket account and that is why it is gone. Leanne
  2. Thanks guys. I quickly snapped this pic tonight of Chaos and Salem curled up together Leanne
  3. I have a program called photoscape, I am not sure how I got it but it is great and so easy to use, I use it more than photoshop. Just did a quick google and it is a free download Leanne
  4. Clover they are Belted Buelingo meat cattle. They are normally very friendly but at the moment a couple of the girls have become very protective of their babies, was glad I had the zoom lens on :) Leanne
  5. Cleft lips/pallets are common in the breed and most breeders put the bitches on a course of folic acid to help prevents this. Some lines are more common than others also. There is no guarantee that if she was bred from again that this would happen (especially if put to a different dog) but the percentages are high that it will. Leanne
  6. Went out to the block today to take photos of Hubby and son riding. I also took some photos of the neighbours cows and their babies who keep our weeds down for us and one of the old trucks in the scrub :D Leanne
  7. wow stunning I have been saving up for a new show puppy but now I am thinking a new lens might be on the cards instead :D Leanne
  8. I have a Manfrotto bag, I love that it has a separate box for the body. I can fit heaps in it, I have 4 lenses, external flash, laptop, user manuals (still learning) plus charger, spare batteries etc. I also like that there is Velcro where you do the clips up just incase you forget. Leanne
  9. Great photos Grizabella, Zuri is so cheeky, feeling a bit sorry for Mum though...ouch Leanne
  10. It has been a few years since I have been to the Adelaide Zoo, thought I got some great photos on my old point and shoot, can't wait to go back with my new camera. Might join up at the end of July early August to make the most out of my membership as I hate the cold and rarely leave the house :) What lens do you all find the best to use. I only have the kit zoom lens at the moment but am hoping to purchase a better lens in a couple months. Leanne
  11. WOW I am in awe by all these fantastic Zoo photos, well done to all I am so inspired that I am considering becoming a member especially as I do not live far from Monarto Zoo :) Leanne
  12. Yes they all had German sounding names and a lot of them where written in German. I feel the same way HazyWal, although it is hard reading the babies. The was a couple without headstones and its sad to think that no one else cared enough to replace them even if it was only with a small plaque like some of the others had done. Was hoping to visit a couple more old cemeteries but the weather turn bad. Leanne
  13. I went to the Caloote Cemetery today, it is a little old cemetery tuck away off a dirt road. I love the first 2 photos This one I call new life amongst death This one is Grandparents and Grandson, he only lived for an hour sorry for the photo overload :D Leanne
  14. Thanks guys :) I would much rather photography puppies any day than kittens. I have hundreds of shots of them turning the other way, diving to the sides or meowing  The puppies I only had to stop them kissing the camera :D Leanne
  15. WOW stunning photos Spoony and very gorgeous subjects too Leanne
  16. Thanks guys, they all are very cute but must say it is easier working with the pups than the kittens  I love the blue background with these guys, really makes their eyes "pop". Best part of the day is after the photos when I get to have cuddles with them all. The little black Poodle almost got lost in my pocket :D Di you will love him/her, so far all of my MIL's Ragdolls have all been so smooch and love having cuddles Leanne
  17. My MIL asked me to take some photos of her litter of Ragdoll kittens for her and also 2 super cute Toy Poodle pups ( and yes she is a registered breeder of both :) ) Leanne
  18. oops sorry lol I am the same, bought my first NEW dslr the other week and am loving it, but so different to my old one lol Leanne
  19. I would recommend booking your girl in for an xray on 3 days before she is due (so Mon/Tue) to count how many and to see if they will fit. If she only has a couple or the pups are to big then a C-section is needed. As she is a maiden I would not book an elective C-section but let her start the labour process as this will help kick in the hormones needed for milk etc, the first stage of labour can go on for hours so you will have plenty of time to get to the vets from the first signs. Staffords are known to have cleft pallets so you will need to check the pups, some are very serve and you can tell easily, some you will need to check the roof of the mouth all the way to the back (if unsure take to your vets straight after whelping). Cleft pallet pups will need to be put to sleep as they can not suckle and will starve to death. Not all dogs are natural mothers and it is best to stay with the mother for the first week, this means sleeping with her and pups, personally I do not leave maidens alone with pups at all for the first 3-5 days or until I feel comfortable. It is best to have her in a quiet room away from your male and visitors as some mothers can be very protective and accidently injure pups. I recommend weigh each pup daily to make sure they are putting on weight. If you need help or have more questions please PM me. It is to late to become registered breeders now but never to late to be responsible with the new lives you are about to bring into this world :) Leanne
  20. Great photos and congrats on your first DSLR. Leanne
