  1. Oh yes TM, stoked, stoked AND STOKED!!! Thanks Elkie!!!!! ;) I got to give the winner his post photograph drinkies - straight from my water bottle :p . He is such a character! Was great to finally meet you! ;) ;) LOL and thanks for giving Thor from your bottle ;) I knew that's what he wanted when I saw him eyeing it off ;) Oh yes, Fanuilos & Arawyn, I have our boy trained to drink from a bottle!
  2. LOL, well I shouldn't be able to miss a yellow gazebo, yep, I'll be there on the 9th!
  3. Thank you so much FS, it sure has been a long journey to get here, and can't be happier! I truly hope it continues! Hugs 2 your crew! Was just a shame that Fanuilos & Arawyn weren't here to share our boys win in person.
  4. A 'real' show, the all breeds type!
  5. Tarakay, we'll cross our fingers! Thanks PC, Bilbo asked me if you were there last night, but I wasn't sure now I know, you were! We need to teach Thor's sister to not be so feral though
  6. We are absolutely thrilled to share such a wondeful brag from last nights show at EP, Manly & Districts Ch Show! Our gorgeous White Swiss Shepherd Dog "Thor", Vallgardens Ghostly Gladiator (imp swd) won under Mr E J Forbes; BABY PUPPY IN SHOW! To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time ever in Australia the breed has won a class in show! Still on cloud nine & so excited, we are still pinching ourselves Such an awesome achievement for the breed! Huge thankyou to everyone that gave us congrats at the show & a giant thank you to the judge for putting up a new breed! And of course the biggest thanks goes to his breeder Eva-Liz for sending us such a wonderful puppy! When I get the photos back, I'll post them up!
  7. My sincere sympathies for the loss of your darling princess. I'm another that will highly recommend Pets At Peace, having to sadly use them 2 weeks ago for my girl & her babies. They were wonderful, and the woman that dropped her home was absolutely wonderful, even staying for a quick chat. Very impressed. Now, this may be a bit outlandish, and I'm not sure how DNA is affected by cremation, but if you are uncertain, perhaps contact GTE in melbourne, I'm wondering if they could DNA profile to determine whether or not the ashes are in fact your girl. If you had something with her hair on it, that could give them something to compare to. Anyway, just a thought.
  8. Thanks, she is very content.. Rosie & the babies were in the Daily Telegraph today, journo's shit me though, got Sugar's cause of death wrong, and really missed the whole point of the newspaper being contacted in the first place (losing her due to vet's incompetence). But I guess it did come across as a feel good story, even though they called them rare when I specifically said they are NOT! Photo is cute, but I'm still fuming about the write up, me thinks I even threw the paper & cracked a mini tantrum ;)
  9. Exelpet spot control is useless, and yes, it could very well be causing an allergic reaction. Eucalyptus wool wash is an effective alternative if you don't have flea shampoo. Her symptoms does sound like she's reacted to something. If you must give her milk, water it right down otherwise you'll upset her tummy & you don't want her getting sicker. Poor puppy.
  10. Update on my 2 little boys from Sugar. They are thriving & growing like weeds, they are making their surrogate mumma look rather small but gee she's a gem & doing an awesome job! Here are some photos of 'Salt & Pepper' & their surrogate mummy Rosie, the salt & pepper mini Schnauzer I hope you all enjoy them.
  11. Awwww love puglet faces Congrats Norskgra on your 2 surprise bubba's, sorry about the boy though
  12. I'm not sure what is wrong in your circumstances, but I find with my pups, they do tend to get a bit of staining around their mouths from suckling. A sort of dirty pink/red colour. Hopefully that's what it is with yours too. Keep us updated, hope all is well.
  13. unless you have ANKC papers stating otherwise, like me Sorry just had to add that as I find it funny
  14. Sugar & her babies just arrived back home from Pets At Peace in a beautiful white urn
  15. December is turning into such a sad month for breeders, every time I check this thread there have been more losses. For anyone interested, I have received the Necropsy Report for my Sugar. Her cause of death was Hypovolemic shock. (not a cardiac arrest due to severe bloat as was claimed by the 'vet') :D: And I have some exciting news, on Christmas Eve, FIRDRAK is allowing me to bring Mumma Schnauzer & my babies to MY HOME! Sadly, she lost her baby schnauzer so 'Rosie' is now only raising my babies. Carolynn thought I would love to watch my babies grow and raise them as I normally do, so is entrusting her girl into my care! I'm just so excited and can't wait to bring her & my babies home It will be the best Christmas present! :p
  16. My goal for 2010 is to title our 2 new White Swiss Shepherd Dogs, giving the breed some positive exposure, making their breeder in Sweden proud & having some great fun along the way. They are very norty so I'm also really looking forward to them being trained
  17. :D That is just so very sad. Having recently lost my girl & her 12 pups, I'd be absolutely devastated if one of the new owners of my two remaining babies had an attitude like yours. I want to cry just thinking of your poor breeder, as they sound like one that cares. Us breeders invest so much of our heart & soul into the babies we bring into the world, how hard is it to send one photo.
  18. Just a short message (trust me, it could be a lot longer!) as my eyes are filled with tears after reading everyone's heartfelt words. I thank each & every one of you. BB, Aziah, Fanuilos, WG, and more, thank you for your calls, your support, and just for listening to me blubbering down the line. I am not coping well, and finding it hard to accept my losses, my beautiful girl Sugar & her 12 babies. 13 lives were stolen from me & my heart is broken, I'm confused, and angry... shattered & broken. I will be taking the matter further. Long story that I don't really feel like going into right now, I'm sure you all understand. One positive, is that I have 2 little boy puppies, who are absolutely thriving. I owe huge thanks to Laurelle from Andacht GSD's, who attempted to introduce my babies into her litter of GSD puppies, this was unfortunately unsuccessful. Her sister Carolyn, Firdrak Mini Schnauzers, so kindly tried with one of her girls who had a single pup & lots of milk to spare, and she lovingly accepted my babies as her own without hesitation. I was so happy I cried. Breeders, give all your girls a hug from me tonight, and your pups. You are all blessed with life. Hugs to everyone else who had losses, my heart goes out to you. What I have gone through IS a breeders worst nightmare, but when I wake up, it's not a dream, my girl is gone
  19. My girl is day 59 from 1st mating. Have had one indicator of stage one, the mucus discharge, this was 36 hours ago. So I'm expecting we'll have bubba's by Monday
  20. I'd cut back to two. I always cut my babies down to 2 meals a day the week before they go to their new home, as it's easier on the new owners, especially if they have to work.
  21. GSD's are a MEDIUM breed, not a large breed Bow Wow.
  22. Oh my God!!!!!!! There is really someone else out there like me!!!!!!! I love the smell of my dogs feet too!!!!!! Me too, I also love the smell of my dogs feet
  23. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad to hear he's ok!!! (Mr Ferguson still wants to meet him ya know!)
  24. Tell her to get it desexed it's a mutt.
