If the Braidwood end can't be sorted this time I don't mind holding them and taking them over another time if it helps, we are rather fond of a trip to Canberra, I have a friend who is probably going to be going in a few weeks as she has family there too(they transported Zena the rescue dog from me to Canberra)

If they can be got to Nowra on Monday i can take them to Braidwood on Tuesday or Wednesday if that helps(just waiting to work out when we are going)

When I was trying to track down the breeder of a basset I was supposed to be getting I gave the chip number to the secretary of the breed club and she got DogsNSW to search it for me in their database :)

We've had the same storms here and despite there being a trailer load of rubbish sitting at my place waiting for a tip run only a few things got blown around. I honestly don't buy a single word written in that excuse

I don't buy that. I travel sometimes and have someone feed my animals and even if they have to go for nearly two weeks without a proper clean they never ever look anywhere near that state. That's at least a couple of months of not being adequately cleaned in my mind.

I don't think the ones in the main part of that picture are Clyde's but in that one with the scungy looking pool there is a pen on the far right and you can kind of half see a chunkier looking chook in there which I wondered whether it might have been one of Clyde's

Lynne from SCAR contacted me back, I've linked her to this thread also. Amy Gurney or whoever she is, is most definitely not involved in any way with SCAR.

A google search tells me she;s a member of every rescue related facebook page this side of newcastle just about! Plus a few border collie pages too. Most of her posts on rescue pages are asking for animals or offering to take animals.

I've sent SCAR a message to let them know what's going on

I sort of know the person who runs SCAR but only because she comes in to my work sometimes. Someone I work with knows her also, I'll have a chat to her over the next few days and see what I should do about whether to talk to her, etc ;)

No she definately does not!

Maybe just eaten something she shouldn't have then. My kelpie ended up collapsing and being rushed to the vet with suspected snake bite. Tested and cleared, spent a day on a drip even and the vet thinks she may have eaten something dodgy that caused like a toxic paralysis! Was very scary but no obvious cause. They don't always use their brain when deciding what to eat LOL

Hah, funnily enough I was just reading that thread! SCAR are just down the road from me but I don't think they are associated. Thinking they just talk through online rescue groups, etc so SCAR were probably not aware of what is going on. i'm toying with whether to send them a message with the link

Good news of sorts, hopefully just a belly ache then. Has she had a change of food since coming in to care?

Have been following as well, pup has been removed frmo display now.

All good no one understands us animal tragics :laugh: I'm feeling bad enough that due to torrential storms all last week i had to clean my guinea pigs out without karchering their indoor cages out and not only that but due to the rain they didn't get to run on the grass! Shock, horror! I couldn't imagine making anything live in the squalor that those animals were in

Yep, but I spend that much time in a day feeding a cleaning up after my kids :laugh: I used to work as a zoo keeper and so did MUP so to us looking after animals half the day is a non-issue :)

We have a lot of animals(not that many but still a lot by most people's standards), if I didn't have kids I'd have no issue looking after that many. It's not how many you have but how well they are cared for that's the issue.
