  4. aww yeahh for miss molly, ive been thinking of her and wondering how it went. hopefully its all over for her and you guys, give her hugs from me and remy..
  5. i have 4 kids.. my 12 year old trains one of the dogs,, he seems to listen to her more so than me... hes "her" dog.. he goes to her and listens to her the most..lol. but my stafford definatley listens to me more.. i do 95% of his training, i do get kids to do some, but its more for leadrership than anything. hes not rough at all with them,, doesnt play bite or anything hes very good with them... good luck.. i do know what u mean tho.. my almost 14 yp daughter doesnt listen either and thinks shes doing it all right..lol as does the husb sometimes.. hes worse.. for roughing them up and playing..
  6. lol.. mental pics , of dog going off and doing routine without you... very clever... :D
  7. lol i saw that and thought ohh did i watch the same one..lol then thought ohh no its not,, thought it was just me not awake yet time for coffee.. but i guess thats just and easier routine to do,, and also easier to see for the person on the camera, lol and gives a good example of heeling as well. :D
  8. hey shoey great work, hes doing well... congrats
  9. hey leo,, id love to come but that date is just way to hectic for me way to close to christmas, id love to get together on a different date somewhere tho.. have fun
  10. well for anyone going the weather has changed dramticly... but sun is still hot and doggies are hot and mine havent moved all day.. stay cool safe..
  11. Little bastards my dogs are! Could have killed them, glad you got a laugh out of it! I thought you might! Is it definitely blood? Very strange how is he TB.. naughty boy... whats up with your 2 shoey dont u dare say they are buggers they are angels.lol
  12. socialising. IMO is the most important taking your pup out and getting it used to lots of different sounds smells and places.. lots and lots of things as many as u can think of,, also different surfaces, sounds so simple but it is often overlooked.. people with, hats, umbrellas, wheelchairs ,prams, lots of bags etc.. theres so many different things that you can do,, you can do the basics obedience, eg: sit teaching the pups name and recalls.. but id give the pup time to settle and get to know the household before you get stuck into the obedience , you will have enough to do with teaching basic manners toilet training etc.. all the rest of obedience can come later., thats just my opinion and what i have done and found has worked well..
  13. depending on where it is,, kepala is a bit to far for me id bee keen on getting out over the break, and of course stella if something is organised and we can both make it im happy to pick you up..
  14. no dog should be deneyd the oppertunity and owner the right to train their dog that does suck,, as far as i know my club does not discriminate against breeds,, we have a range of bull breeds and crosses at our club. when my boy SBT was a pup i was asked if he was a pittbull and the trainer actucally asked me and said ohhh what a lovely pitty pup.!!! i did correct her , and she said ohh well there are some lovely pitts and crosses around.. good on you for bringing him... im not sure where you are located but if you would like details pm me get your dog out there as a pup socialise and train and make a great example out of him, prove the bastards wrong....lol
  15. awww what a special boy harry is, an you sound to be so lucky to have had him in your lives.. reading it gave me goosepbumps and i can feel the love you have for him,, rip little man you will be very much missed but always loved..
  16. still even 45 mins is a lot.. my pup is 8 months old,.. at training the class is 45 mins.. he just makes it through that,, and i give him a lot of little breaks.. i train at home in the back yard then take him to the park for a free run for 10 mins or so or a short 5 min walk up the street to the park for offleash run
  17. oh dear poor connor confined to the pen.. bet hes loving sleeping in daughters bed all snuggled and cosy, hope hes well on the way to recovery and hes back to his normal cheeky self soon..
  18. sounds like it could be an infection, i agree trying another vet if this one doesnt give u satisfactory answers the second time tround and just sends you home with some pills.. not good enough IMO especially if it has re occured again.. good luck
  19. i wont add anything more here , but i dont think a 10 week old pup should be left for 10 hrs a day. the only other thing that concerns me is, taking 10 12 13 week old pups for long walks day and night. or 45 min runs.. IMO that is just to much for a young pup.. a free run and a play is enough
  20. yes yes.. i think it is a great thing to do,, get your pup out there and socialised well.. makes all the difference,, my obed club did puppy socialisation classes 8 to 14- 16 weeks,, was indoors..
  21. ohh stella, poor connor,, hugs from auntie rexy, get better soon stella if there is anything at all i can do please ring me or e mail or what ever u know im here,... sending positive thoughts to you. xxoxoxoxox
  22. aww poor darling RIP little ones... so very sad
  23. the op is quite quick and simple,, and usually heals with no problem at all.. if the dog is not registered and you are not showing then there is no need to keep the dog entire... far more risks IMO,, in keeping a dog entire if not used as stud or shown,, than the op itself...
