I know people are saying we must be responsible for our own dogs and I am sure we are. There is also a thing called Duty of Care. As far as I am aware the the dog that started this topic was stolen from Adelaide Royal, was behind a barrier and inside a container for safety. If this is incorrect would a person who does does know please post the correct details.

Quite a few dog deaths due to the composition of the greenies. New composition and new company, but it still leaves a bad feeling.

I will never give up fighting puppy farmers and the sale of pups in pet shops. I am a registered ethical breeder of pure bred dogs and I reserve the right to continue to do so. Just never be hoodwinked by those that make out they are helping you. I believe you are being hoodwinked and I will always believe that. Which is my right. I have no more to say about the matter.

I can only speak about Brisbane really. Having spent the last 20 odd years there. Has anybody been their on peoples day and tried to get your dogs to the assembly area ?. Remember trying to bring a trolley through the crowds to get to the assembly area, only to be told NO trolleys to brought into the assembly area. This has changed slightly in the last few years with sweepstakes on this day now. (If you have more than on dog you need helpers in the assembly area should have dogs in following classes) Having to leave the dogs unattended in a public area if you are on your own. Yes of course we ask others to watch them but should they be called away, after all they are doing you a kindness, it's not their responsibility. In this day and age we need far better security for these enclosed (benched) shows.

Do you believe that Royal Shows provide adequate security for our dogs ?. I believe they don't depending on what royal you are at. Sydney Royal being somewhat better in my experience.

And people wonder why I say don't let the public wonder in amongst the dogs. I hope this little man is back in his mums arms by tonight.

3 calendar months

I start mine on mince, just mince and nothing else. As they progress I just a little of the soaked dry food till they are used to it. When they are used to this I just add the dry un soaked to the mince. As the pups get used to this I introduce chicken mince (minced frames) chicken necks and wings and then onto chicken frames.

My thoughts on this matter have already been said by many before me. Always remember we have problems that crop up in people from time to time and that alone can be difficult to eradicate. Even more so in some animals. Please do not ask dog breeders for more than they can give. Reputable reliable breeders are doing everything in their power to eradicate any problems that do come up, but it does take time.

I was just reading on another dog list where the flood threat was great and the persons in authority refused to take the ladies dogs and cat. I have been been led to believe that the dogs were Toys. Group 1. She stayed. So would I. What would you do ?.
