  1. It's so easy to get caught up when you visit puppies! :D What baby puppy isn't cute really. If a show prospect is what you want, wait for the right one :)
  2. Just heartbreaking to read, let alone for you to go through Ness, and poor Kenz What are her options now?
  3. Don't worry we weren't there anyway! I ended up having to work and have only just finished so we didn't make it I'm bummed because I really want to start going!!! Next week should be fine though. Looking forward to meeting you and Willow! Her antics sound hilarious!
  4. That's awesome dotdashdot! How fun getting a puppy fix every week! :)
  5. Just wondering has he seen a vet to rule out a UTI? I restricted water after 10pm when Sumo first came home, but being a Saint he gets hot easily so would pant very loudly during the night, or even whine because he was thirsty. In the end we put his food and water bowls in the crate with him overnight, and he never once had an accident in there. After that he would only cry to be let out for the toilet. Now he is safe to sleep outside of his crate at night. Good luck, I really feel for you having to get up so often every single night. Hoping you can get on top of this soon :)
  6. Dotdashdot thankyou so much for explaining as I really had no idea about this issue in Dallies. I love learning new things. I would hope the majority of Dally owners and breeders are FOR this project.
  7. He's gorgeous! What a happy face! I see Anatolian possibly.

Maybe ask your breeder as to what age they usually descend in your breed or their particular lines? I was told they don't have to be descended for the Baby Puppy class (3-6 months) but by the time he's 6 months old they must both be down for you to continue to show him. My boy had both of his when I got him at 10 weeks so I haven't had to worry. Good luck I'm sure others will give more advice!
  9. Hope no one minds me sharing more Sumo pics. Not quite 4 months old yet, but almost the same length as Moose! And just one of his big boof head :p

  11. Woah I hope that collar is for when she's mature! Glad you finally got your girl, you must share some photos with us :) Mastiffs are awesome dogs! What did you end up naming her?
  12. Just ordered and paid for one Lazor dryer, thanks to all for your help and input :)
  13. Haha love these stories  When Sumo's Aus pedigree arrived (as he's from NZ) my OH wanted to get it framed I said we'll wait to see if he becomes a Champion then we MIGHT frame that
  14. On the edge of my seat Lhok! I hope you get the good news you so deserve ASAP! :D
  15. I never knew Dallies had urinary problems! So every Dally, other than those lines mixed with Pointers many generations back, have HUA? What does HUA actually do to the dog, i.e. how is it affected? And how far back does the Pointer have to be to still consider the Dally "pure"? It's very interesting and certainly sounds like a positive program if the intention is for healthier dogs :)
  16. I thought the same thing Piper, the wording is what made me question it. And yes you're probably right, one day is enough.
  17. So what's the program consist of and why would it NOT be supported? Forgive my ignorance :)
  18. That's awesome, I think I'm sold on this dryer now, thankyou! :)
  19. I think that's awesome, she sounds like a caring breeder I would take the opportunity to go and learn (and the puppy cuddles are just a bonus!) and let her point things out to you about the show potential pups she is keeping vs the pet only pups. The only way to learn really! :)
  20. Just bought a new show lead for my Saint baby, and am about to shell out a ridiculous amount on a dryer, grooming table, and hopefully a hydrobath too We sure love our dogs don't we!
  21. Carter is one handsome lad! All the best with him!
  22. How's the noise on this one k&c is it quite loud or not too bad?
