  1. And finally, hanging with his best buddy Moose:
  2. And not a big deal to most, but to us it was :) Sumo earnt his very first points today toward his championship title. 7 down, only 93 to go! :)
  3. Happy to oblige! We had a couple of shows this weekend. Here is the drowned rat in the tub :) This one speaks for itself! A quick pic of Sumo (left) and sister Sassy at the show:
  4. But peace is a correctly spelt word, it's just the wrong word. I agree with Golden Girl :) Pure bread mutts :)
  5. She looks like a fox in that pic! Just beautiful, I look forward to more pics of Pagan :)
  6. Of course you can :) I would've let him have a proper play with Willow if we'd already been in the ring, but, it takes me so long to wash and dry and groom And grass stains aren't really in the standard He loves a good play though! A friend of mine who has Bernese has just got a Cairn Terrier puppy, she must weigh about 3kg and Sumo thinks she is the bees knees :)
  7. Sorry to hear of your troubles with Treb, Lhok You can't seem to cut a break at the moment Willow is a beautiful girl and soooooo suuuuuuper friendly! :D She just wants pats and cuddles and love from everyone! Haha she's great I love her nature. Dare I say it but I think she's an attention wh*re! (Don't tell Dory! :p ) I'm so lucky Sumo is as chilled as he is, I couldn't hold back 65kg of puppy if he decided to go silly
  8. Yeah Dory, are ya are ya?? :D (Personal joke - I've been hassling her to enter so I can see Willow again! :p )
  9. Poor Nova with his sore ear, I hope it heals soon Ear infections are the worst, one of the joys of drop-eared breeds unfortunately Hankodie I feed Royal Canin. Sumo loves it, and his poos are always solid. I wish I could say they were small too but have you seen the size of him? Sumo is 8.5 months now and still the most darling puppy :) It's ridiculous how much I love him! We have a couple more shows this weekend and next, then that's it for the year. He has improved (behavior-wise) so much and gaits beautifully for me now, nine times out of ten. His sister is a ratbag and prefers to gallop or bunny hop, but despite that she is doing more winning than Sumo as she is the nicer looking and more balanced Saint at the moment. In their lines though, the boys develop more slowly than the girls so there's hope for us yet! :)
  10. Where do you buy the moose toy? I need to buy one for my Moose! :)
  11. Not a Bernese. Unless it was a mature adult, I'm talking 3 years plus. They remain puppies for a long time. Definitely a Rottie :)
  12. Same. and if it is at a time or place that is not really convenient, i just remind myself that once i was a kid that would have jumped out of a moving car to meet a St Bernard, so giving these people a moment of my time is the least i could do. So true Crysti! I think my dogs are beautiful so can't blame others for thinking the same, and wanting a cuddle :D
  13. Basset babies, oh wow :) Those big ears and big eyes (not that they'd be open yet) are just so adorable! I'm friends with many Saint Bernard people near and far on Facebook, and I get so clucky when there's a nice looking litter born! My baby is only 8 months old but he's enormous. That's the only problem with giant breeds, we are robbed of having them as babies far too quickly.
  14. Oh no Lhok Hope your breeder has some miraculous answer for whatever you're facing xx
  15. Don't beat yourself up, of course you wouldn't have put her through it if you didn't think it was the best thing for her at the time. You wanted to and tried to give her the best outcome, it's not your fault it didn't really work. Anyone can see you love Kenzie and want what's best. I think of you guys often and always hope that she's doing better xx
  16. Sumo's Mum Sumo's Dad Sumo is very much his Dad in the head. He is more heavyset though, a bit more like his Mum in body. Dory I think Willow resembles her Dad, and he is a HUNK!
  17. This made me giggle :) Sumo is 8 months now and towers over Moose! I'd estimate his weight to be about 65kg. You need to enter another show! :) We have our first shows back since his injury this weekend, and I'm so excited as he's up in minor puppy now so we're finally eligible for points! Love all the mum and dad pics guys, I'll add Sumo's too.
  18. Yes I actually saw your name pop up on some comments on Facebook (recognized your name from here). Your girl is a stunner! Are you planning to show? Great people you're buying from too, they are friends of mine :) it's a really nice looking litter.
  19. Hi Natnmack :) I have an 8 month old Saint baby. I spent ages trying to decide if we should get pet insurance for him or not, and in the end we didn't. They are an expensive breed to insure. Instead of paying an insurance company each month, I put money aside into a special savings account, which I don't touch for anything other than vet bills. Having said this though, Saint vet bills can be enormous. I'm not saying definitely don't get pet insurance, as plenty of people swear by it and would be lost without it, but if you're good at saving and can commit to putting money aside each period without touching it, then that could be another option for you. Good luck with your new pup! Where is he or she coming from? :)
  20. My brother lives in Young, but is overseas at the moment. How often do they have shows there? I should try to make it sometime :)
